Geisha's name was inspired by Arthur Golden's Memoirs of A Geisha, a book I own
that was made into a movie. It also relates to the white color of the ship's hull (think white facepaint).

Geisha was designed for use in Evil Stevie's Pirate Game. It is a Class 3.

The ship's sails are custom-made and hand-cut from light canvas I purchased at a local fabric store.

Sea-level view of the ship's starboard side. The pink windows on the sides were originally white,
but I felt the ship needed more color and something distinctive.

Bird's eye view of the Geisha, with the crew ready for battle.
In this photo, the ship has a lot of extra pirates on board, who will serve as a prize crew.

Rear starboard quarter (original). Our loyal Dutch navigator mans the wheel and compass.
A standard uniform of sand red pants make it easier to distinguish our sailors from pirates.
There is a gun commander (indicated by triple yellow plumes) for each cannon.

The cannons are wheeled and are adjusted by the crew as needed during combat operations.
The forecastle holds the winch assembly for raising the anchor.

The tops of the masts, showing how I built the mainmast.

Here's an updated picture of the new, angled stern castle.

The interior of the captain's cabin. Check out the red/dark red combo!

I was fortunate enough to find these new 1 x 1 tiles on Bricklink.

A nice overall view of the ship, after I added the topsail. I studied a lot of books to
get a feel for the mast heights, sail plan, and flag placement.

I hope you like the ship. There are currently thee other ships of this class in my fleet, of which two are also schooners like the Geisha and one is a brig. The first of the four (Geisha) was finished and commissioned a few days before Christmas 2005, with the last of the four launched new year's day 2006.
