Ken called out as his leg was shot, but never wavered. "Sonofa....well...it could be worse." he said, clenching his teeth against the pain. "It's a stalemate still...meaning no matter how this goes, no one wins, in case you forgot, doc."

"I should point out that two high-powered needles just went through the bones in your leg, basically shattering them. I wouldn't suggest trying to walk." Stalwart looked at the mercenary with a calm smile, his glasses displaying the target data even now. "What we are going to do, though, is bring you back to your ship and report your actions to the authorities. Though they won't actually do anything, it will cost quite a bit in bribes to clear yourself, something I'm sure your employers won't be happy about."

The bodyguard holstered her sidearm and gripped the arm of the merc. "If you try anything, I snap it. Come with me." She growled as she started to walk, waiting for him to follow. Damned kid.

Ken hopped along, hoping she doesn't. "YOu didn't need the one mill. I mean, if you did, you would have taken the damn 2 mill deal." he says, tyring not to walk on his bad leg. "You think Zen cares? Hell, 5 says they would rather me rot then pay me if I had finished the job. Oh, and do you think you could spare a cast kit? I don't have room to carry any on that shitty ship of mine."

Aria growled at the young, cocky merc. "We don't keep a lot of med supplies aboard, so you're going to have to go to a hospital. As for the money issue, that's his business and his alone. You're green and you got into something you couldn't handle, kid." She opened the docking hatch using her passcode and threw him inside his ship. "If I were you, I would hope we don't meet again. Because if we do, I will kill you. And I will enjoy it."

A press of the button and she closed the hatch, and another press and the docking clamps were released. She sighed for a moment, and returned to the catacombs of the ship.

Later...

The sensor strips were active with the violet eyes of the Aria system; she had taken control of matters once more. And once more, Mora Fusegu stood looking out into the heavens.

"That was quite an interesting encounter," Mora noted with a smile.

Aria was rather angry about the whole affair, however, and made no attempt to hide it. "You have the most remarkable talent for understatement. What do you want?"

"Send a message to Zen, tell them that we recieved their gift, however we sent it back to the store. Tell them that we will still accept offers, if they are willing to negotiate on better terms, and also tell them that I will return any more gifts they send." And he never stopped his cool, confident, egotistical smile. "We'll stay in orbit for a little while yet, wait for a response or a competing offer. However, after that, I think we'll leave this place. How does going to Yamatai space sound?"

"Depends, am I illegal?" It was an honest question, since Aria wasn't exactly sure of her own legal status - the project was never brought to production, and she was lucky to survive, even if only in some rusted freighter.

"We'll find out then, won't we, Grey Seraphim?" And then Fusegu Mora, tired from the day, sat in his large 'captain's chair' and leaned back. No other man could have handled that so well.

Ken pointed his ship planetward, so he could get fixed up at a hospital. "Damn it....they arn't going to be happy...I'll just tell them after they fix me up." he tells himself, knowing what they might do to him.
