Star Army Starship Captains:

1. Current Events: The Mishhuvurthyar have managed to overrun Nataria, Tatiana, and Tami and are engaging us at the entrances to the Military Sector in an attempt to blockade us. Our priority is on defending our remaining systems with emphasis on those with the most population and industry, and on breaking the blockade.

2. NMX Pirating/Raids: NMX numbers are large and there is a great deal of them roving around our space at the moment, looking for targets of opportunity. Avoid unnecessary travel and travel in groups and convoys if at all possible.

3. Logistics: Logistics is currently a mess. The KMS depot has been severely damaged and Nataria depot is destroyed completely. This means that supplies may be slower and more difficult to come by. Please make the most of what you have onboard and supplement your stock with local supplies as needed. We are short on starship parts for older classes, uniform supplies, ground vehicles, and some power armor. Supplies of food are available in the Yamatai area, but in the KMS many types of food are not available because the farming there is new and not as diverse. Please endure these hardships as the government and Star Army work to rebuild our infrastructures.

4. Training: All captains need to make sure their crew is ready for real combat. Intensify training efforts and conduct combat simulations when time is available.

Current Events Update: NMX forces are engaging in an offensive operation in Elysian space and the ECN and Star Army are attempting to counter it.

To All: Star Army Starship Captains:

1. Please go through your starship inventories and look for obsolete equipment and unnecessary equipment and return that equipment to the nearest depot for processing when you get a chance. Also, please send SACN requests to Star Army Logistics for any equipment you need. I especially recommend the new Type 31 survival kits, science scanners, and the P4 unit.

2. I am seeking starship captains. Please consider having your current First Officer, if eligible, apply for a position as a starship commander. This will also make room for the next generation of First Officers, which you can begin training. Remember the future of Star Army leadership depends on continually grooming rising officers for eventual leadership positions. (OOC: Try to leave the XO slot open for people that don't play a captain already).

Princess Taisho Shimizu is currently engaged with SMX forces at the South Gate. Communication has been difficult or impossible, but telemetry from Skadi indicates that indeed, there is still a large battle going on. I was left orders to handle any pertinent incoming orders.

1. The other Captains in the Fourth Fleet have been informed. Currently, another Hotaru styled Iori is under construction at Katsuko no Iori, to shore up the cluster further, and provide a buffer zone of conflict between homespace, and the KMS.

If the line holds, our colonists will be able to maintain their production and solidify the move towards processing and manufacturing. It will be at least two weeks before we can send any shipments of food or extend the logistics, people are very nervous with the NMX so close.

Plans for the Fenris line of ships are coming along, the Jormungandr is taking longer to develop due to the size and resources of the project being redirected to the war.

2. The Taisho and Logistics has asked me to request permission to build a squadron of interdiction gunboats at your discretion, until such time as our ships of the line are ready, when we are prepared to surrender the vessels back to the 1st XF. Many of our scout vessels have been destroyed, and a multi-role ship would be helpful across a battlefield stretched thin against so many enemies. We will hold the line, with or without them.

3. We await your next communication, and hopefully I will not be the one answering, Princess Taisho.

May red and gold dye the stars, and all come to peace.

Current Events Update:

The Star Army of Yamatai now has a dedicated ground, sea, and air forces division, Star Army Plantary Operations. SAPO will be used for ground bases, invasions, occupations, and planetary infantry operations. The largest unit in SAPO is the Division, which is equivalent to a Fleet in the Star Army space operations division. Divisions will be commanded by a Chujo or Taisho.

The Elysian Celestial Navy has now been integrated with the Star Army of Yamatai, forming into two fleets: the Star Army Tenth Fleet and the Star Army 11th Fleet.

MEMORANDUM REGARDING NMX RATIONS

1. When NMX Type 31 Field Rations are encountered, it is important to treat them as criminal evidence. The Rations should be taken to your starship or a nearby starship for eventual transport to the depot at Virginia where they will be analyzed for DNA matches with missing Yamataian citizens and soldiers. Ships do not need to transport the items directly. Drop the rations off at a starbase so the starbase can put the captured rations on a logistics transport.

2. In emergency situations where recovering the rations is not feasible, the rations should be destroyed so they cannot be recaptured by the enemy.

3. In situations where hunger is an issue and no Star Army food is available, the NMX rations can be opened. Only the canned meat is wanted for analysis. The rest of the ration (cookies and such) can be eaten safely.

MEMORANDUM REGARDING UNPROFESSIONAL ORAL HABITS

It is the duty of a soldier of the Star Army of Yamatai to present a highly professional appearance. Any activity that detracts from a dignified appearance is unacceptable.

In particular, no soldier of the Star Army of Yamatai shall:

• Use or possess chewing gum or bubble gum or chew on any other non-food objects while in uniform.
• Use or possess cigarettes, cigars, dip, or any other tobacco product, at any time or use simulated items of the above while in uniform.
• Spit in public
• Eat while walking around in uniform.

It has come to our attention that the Lazarus Corporation's public network is being actively used to support criminal and anti-government activity. Furthermore with Lorath encroachment into Yamataian territory, the Lazarus Corporation, which is based in Lor, constitutes a security risk. With SYNC now operational, we are now free to eliminate this risk without causing undue disruption to our nation's civilian communications. It is with the above in mind that I am declaring Lazarus assets in and near Yamataian space as enemy and subject to destruction wherever we find them.
