In the distance, Laura saw people heading towards her. That could be a good thing. Or it could be a bad thing. Especially if they liked shooting randomly. She pulled out her ESG and checked to make sure it was loaded.

Yes, it was. She fired three rounds at the incoming people. In her mind, that should catch their attention and make them know she was ready to take them on if they were going to be meanies. After all, she was heading to the gun store first!

Rita's onlaught was very effective. She took attention of good half of all the zombies downstairs. Other half was making it's merry way towards the escalator though. Luckily for Rita there was enough for her to use on the zombies. Benches, large potted flowers, lamp posts or even other zombies. Bench in her hand hit pile of zombies, creating some sort of ex-human domino. Problem was, that even when zombies had their bones broken or meat shredded, it only stopped some of them. Other were quickly rising on their feet. Rita was lucky so far.

Sawyer was a great marksman. So was Miranda. THeir both combined fire made sure a lot of zombies never made it to escalator. Miranda's pistol magazines dissappeared though and she was out of ammo soon. All she had now was her swords and combat knife. Sawyer was not doing so great on ammo himself.

"I am okay," LT said to Chad as she walked out of the shuttle. She bandaged her head, while others were fighting. Chad had even less worry with that as he could move towards the Styrling Store only to be met by burst fire of small caliber automatic weapon. He could hear bullets ping of the walls nearby and he could plainly see that source of the fire was young girl in marine uniform nearby the elevator.

"FUCK! FRIENDLY FUCKIN FIRE!" LT shouted at the girl and shaked her fist at the girl, ending with giving her a finger.

Henry was busy shooting zombies nearby shuttle. It felt great when last one fell on the ground. Henry had a smile on hsi face as he reloaded his rifle and turned aroun seeing other on the move, except Sawyer still giving covering fire.

Metalic ball left Paul's hand and flew. It flew as a rocket and as a rocket it smashed into Zombies mouth, going in between the jaws. Paul could clearly see teetch flying out of poor zombies mouth. The hit sent zombie bacward, falling on its back going "mmmmhmmh" and trying to dig large ball out of his mouth.

Pual did not wait one second, he grabbed girls hand and quickly ran out of toilets. Room was not empty except for zombie wriggling on the ground. Or was it?

Chad nodded at his CO before moving off towards the gunstore. However, almost as soon as he begin began his run it ended in a dramatic tumble as he tripped over a piece of shuttle, flying headfirst before sliding along the ground on his chest. The fall saved his life, three bullets dinged off the shuttle behind where he'd been running.

"Davis in a frathouse, who the hell was that?" he shouted, firing two shots at the small cluster of zombies now in front of him.

"Alright, we're clocking out here ya'll start running for that gunstore I'll cover and follow you guys" Sawyer yelled at the group as he slammed out more well aimed fire aiming for the heads of the zombies that were the closest. "I'll be right behind you guys," he said once his mag ran dry and he started backing up while reloading to continue firing.

Henry had emptied his rifle for the moment, putting well placed headshot after headshot into each zombie that stumbled into view. The ones that would continue moving despite their decapitation would be finished off his .45. One flaw in the design for Henry's Rifle is that bullets had to be loaded in one by one, rather than drawing from a magazine. Instead, his pistol was there to pick up the slack, and one zombie fell just a few feet away from him, smelling like hell.

Henry put the last two bullets in the magazine into it just to be on the safe side before reloading his pistol and pushing more cartridges into the loading gate of his rifle.

With all that done, he smiled and moved next to Sawyer, still keeping his eye on Sawyer's flanks, "How's the situation looking?" He inquired as he kept his eye on the others before keeping an eye on the back, keeping his self-imposed role of rear guard in order. To anyone heading towards the gun store, he yelled: "Pass me a few mags of .45 for a Styrling Silver Special, and if you can, get some 30-30!"

"Shitty as you can see, low on ammo and of course they ain't runnin' near fast enough for my taste" Sawyer replied as he continued with his well aimed shots at the zombies as they closed and continuing to slowly walk backwards as he fired.

Chad heaved himself up with one arm, the other fixed firming in a firing position for his pistol. "Damn it, last person I thought I'd get shot at was a friendly." he growled angrily as he got moving again.

"Come on, guys! We gotta get outta here before they learn how to sprint again!" he shouted, resuming his run towards the the gunstore. Another zombies head tilted back as a bullet caught it through the eye.

Laura continued down the mall, ignoring the stupid people and the stupid dead people. She ... well, not signed up, but trained to fight NMX not stupid walking dead. As a young clone, why should she care about the people's comfort, nationhood, and all that stupid nonsense. Laura Romero wasn't part of any of it so why defend it.

All that mattered was her. She, herself and her. And as far Laura Romero, the Most Brilliant Medic in the Universe, was concerned, all the others here could sod it. Being alone was more natural to her than being with others. In fact, she hated how stupid most other Nepleslians she had met were. She, of course, had been genetically crafted to be a brilliant mind as well as a robust body. Why should she bother with naturally-born, naturally-stupid people?

So, after she had fired those warning shots, Laura ignored the others. Marines they may or may not be. But those stupid dead people were attracted to those stupid living people. Why was the world filled with stupid things like those idiots?

Laura started running towards the store. It was not so far too, but she could already noticed few zombies getting up the escalator. It seemed though that hey were lured towards the store rather then to Laura. As they got near she could hear very loud BLAM BLAM and first two zombies flew away in geysers of blood.

"WHAT IS THIS. REDS ARE ATTACKING?" She could hear angry voice from inside the shop. It sounded rather cranky and old. "WELL KEEP COMING, OLD PERKINS HAS ENOUGH SHELLS FOR EVERYBODY!"

___
___

Marines near the shuttle could see blonde girl running away towards the store. They could also hear the shotgun fire and zombies getting near the store being mowed down, by the fire from within.

"Okay people move up!" LT shouted, she looked at Rita, but it seemed that Rita was having enough fun. She was also dealing with lot of zombies and drawing their attention.

"Morris! Move up with the others, I don't have gun so I will watch our butts." LT said, drawing her knife. Better something then nothing.

Sawyers fire was effective but he was down to his last two magazines. He really needed to stock up.

"Don't shoot, old man! I'm a Marine! I'm with the Greens!" Laura yelled as she took cover behind the wall next to the shop's entrance. "I need more guns to kill these bastards! Got anything I can use?"
