Build and Skin Color: Carina maintains a very sleek, lean musculature that seems to compliment and accentuate her natural femininity. While she has been out in the field for a few years her natural light olive complexion has deepened slightly.
Eyes and Facial Features: Her face was spared the ravages of puberty her countenance remains free of battle scars, and the cute little girl has become a woman. She has a delicate little nose, and high cheekbones while her cupid bow lips remain the same natural dark, rosy coloration.
One of the most unchanged features of her are her cat-like hazel eyes that still seem to sparkle slightly in certain lighting.
Hair Color and Style: Carina has long black hair down to the middle of her back that ends in a slight curl. Usually it is left straight, and free, but combed and neat. Her long bangs tend to curl a little above or right at her cheeks. Lately though she's taken to pulling it into a ponytail with her bangs still framing and curling right around her cheeks.
Distinguishing Features:
As a result of her life as a marine, Carina has unfortunately been under the knife several times to replace her damaged organic components.
Reinforced Spine: Due to her life as a marine, and the subsequent consequences thereof, in the past Carina had to undergo reinforcement of the spine to compensate for the new cybernetics installed within her body. The reinforcement materials of choice were Durandium Alloy and a carbon nanotube mixture to create a harder bone structure, but keeping it lighter then her actual bone.
Hips: The result of having a portion of her lower body crushed. The actual bone was replaced with a fabricated Durandium Alloy set with carbon nanotube casings containing synthetic blood producers. In addition low density synthetic nano-muscle was also applied to replace the damaged muscle tissue including reworking several nerve clusters.
As a result of these operations, she has a very thin scar running across the stomach and thighs where the new tissues meet the old ones.
Having spent most of her life around marines, her father, Suku and the colorful Nepleslian culture, Carina has developed as one might expect from her. She is still down to earth, friendly and nice more then willing to wisecrack and joke to those who haven't rubbed her the wrong way. Otherwise she can be a little aggressive, foulmouthed all with a distinct smoothness that goes unmarred in either situation. She can be well-mannered to superior officers, and just about everyone. Carina has also retained that innate curiosity that caused her mother figure, Suku Matsobuki many a trying times as well.
When facing a combat situation she usually goes in it with a cool head the same smoothness she usually exhibits remaining firm but isn't shy to bark orders when necessary.

Carina is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Carina is fluent in Nepleslian. She can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. Carina is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).
Carina received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons she is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. Carina can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. Carina is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. Carina is also able to pilot the powered armors native to Nepleslia. As a result of her past exposure and experiences, she is highly adept at piloting them due to lessons prominently attributed to Fian Vel Steyr, someone shes known since she was a child.
Carina knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. Carina can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.
Carina can understand and give out tactical commands and work with his troop to follow those commands efficiently. She knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). Carina is able to recognize ambush points. She knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.
Carina can identify, manufacture, handle and dispose of explosives. With the proper tools, she can detect and disarm enemy explosives as well.
After many years of being raised by Rico and living in Funky City running around the streets, Carina has developed her skills in pickpocketing and lock picking through many trials and errors learning even how to get out of some situations with a smooth word here, a deception there.
She also shares in her father's natural charisma, good-looks and not to mention a retooled version of his pick-ups, compliments and one-liners makes her a force to be reckoned with just like her good'ol dad.
Much like Rico who taught her, she is quite capable of hotwiring civilian vehicles common on Nepleslia. Being capable of driving said vehicles and even military ones as a result of her training. She has a few marks on her records, not for crashes, but for speeding, and not obeying traffic laws when driving on the mean streets of Nepleslia.
She also knows how to handle an airbike, having lifted her father, Rico's old Vipster from under his nose a time or two and taking it for a spin just for kicks.
Carina Gabrelle Sanroma is currently a Staff Sargeant in the Star Army of Nepleslia. She receives a weekly salary of 200 DA per week.
