Facial Features and Eye color: She is pretty to the eyes due to her soft and delicate features, and innocent look that seems to come naturally to her. Eyes are an slightly unusual hue of violet and hold a certain “wisdom” to them now through all of her past experiences. (Appears around seventeen.)
Hair color and Style: Hair is a light violet color, starting from the roots and gradually fades into a darker shade of blue ending at the tips. Her hair is now longer going to the middle of her back, and is straight, silky smooth and soft to the touch. Her bangs now frame her face
Distinguishing Features: Nothing out of the ordinary, except for a small holographic image of a purple lotus blossom on her right shoulderblade.
Personality: Curious, kind and determined. Due to her short life, Yuriko is an inquisitive individual. Though, she does not let this get in the way of her duties. She is a friendly, and loyal to her friends and commanding officers to a fault. Can be tough as nails on the battlefield, and gentle as a summer breeze when not. She is somewhat quiet and a capable listener, but will speak up when asked or she feels its needed. Though sometimes she can be mildly shy in certain situations. Mainly with people she just met, but in tense situations her shyness returns. Due to a year of intense experiences in battle,and in “real life” she's done a lot of growing up. She is more mature, intelligent,but she still retains her kind disposition. However, due to past encounters with a few varying people she is also careful in her dealings, choosing her words, and has become more cunning.

Yuriko was born late into the year YE 27 while her mother was on active duty during the waning days of the Xyainbor Campaign. Shortly after her birth, Yuriko's mother Yue was declared k.i.a. With no one to watch over her, Yuriko came into the care of and was eventually adopted by Ichigo Kakutama, a medical technician that served on board the same ship. By the middle of the year YE 28 she attended basic training. And in YE 29 entered active military duty.
Her first assignment came in YE 29, and was aboard the YSS Sakura the famous 1st XF gunship. During her first few days, the battle_of_taiie was waged, and her trial by fire came. She survived, and would soon participate in the Kimithro operation. Some of the Sakura's crew was then abducted by Black Spiral, and left on a frozen moon, inside of a water processing plant. After a hellish struggle for survival, the encountered an army of zombie-like young men, with parasitic Mishhuvurthyar in them. Yuriko fought to protect the crew, even going back for Taisa Hanako through a room full of the Mishhu parasites, and now dead zombies.
They finally made it out alive, though fairly battered and bruised to be sure. Yuriko and her crewmates would then go to lor for a bit of a vacation, to recuperate in peace. It was here that Yuriko, and Cherry became a couple. However, their peace was shattered with the arrival of Black Spiral, who seemed to be targeting Miles Gunn, The Sakura's doctor. After a brief firefight, Miles was safely returned to the Sakura where they attempted to treat him for radiation poisoning. The need to have him transfered to a new body arose, his Nepleslian one unable to cope with the Gamma Radiation induced by the teleportation of himself back aboard the gunship.
Things took a turn for the worse, Miles went out of control, and attacked the Sakura. He then abducted Taisa Hanako, and boarded a shuttle. Yuriko attempted to talk him down, but was unable to do so. In the end, Miles was killed by the ship's NIWS.
During the crew's departure from lor, they encountered the SRSS Yggdrasill, and an unknown alien vessel. After a long while of talking, they eventually parted ways. However, one of the crew had been changed. She eventually took a shuttle and fled, heading towards Nepleslia. It was there that the Sakura's Taisa attempted to make contact with Black Spiral by using Elisa Metea as bait. It however did not work. Chaos ensued, Yuriko, left in charge of the Sakura while the crew was away monitored the situation from the bridge. It seemed a minor civil war had erupted on the planet, people rioting, ships fighing in orbit, and the like.
The crew's next assignment was a raid on SMX logistics centers south of the great southern nebula. The Sakura's target was a out of the way system known as Splorfin. Where the Mishhuvurthyar had been storing food, water and supplies for their fleets. Things however did not go as planned. The Sakura was ambushed, and had to fight its way out. While the gunship fought for its survival, the vessel was boarded, and several ghost-type Mishhu infiltrated the vessel. The Mishhuvurthyar began to cause havoc amongst the crew who were resisting them. Two managed to get to the bridge in which Hanako, Yuriko, and Cherry were on. Yuriko and Cherry fought them, until the former sprite was entangled in one of the Mishhu's tentacles, while Yuriko ducked and dodged her way about, trying to Save Taisa Hanako from the Mishhuvurthyar attempting to rape her. She finally managed to kill it, but the damage had been done, and she was unable to stop the Mishhu from completeing its task. In the end the Sakura's NIWS was activated, and sent throughout the ship to dispatch them. Yuriko and her fellow crew mates survived, but sadly they had lost Jo Midori and several others. The Sakura managed to escape, but had taken a severe beating.
Yuriko's career flourished as she received a command of her own, this proved to be a major learning experience for her, and taught her to be a good commander. However, she resigned her commission within the Star Army of Yamatai to be with her children within the United Outer Colonies.
Communication: Yuriko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from others through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Yuriko is fluent in Trade, German; Lorath, Kutjamonhymo, Yamataian and is currently learning Nira'las. She can speak and write five of these correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.
Fighting: Yuriko received extensive hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols,energy rifles, knives, and power armor. She has also been studying, and training in several different forms of martial arts. She is a veteran of powered armor, and conventional combat after years of near constant fighting.
Technology Operation: Yuriko is very proficient with operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.
Mathematics: Yuriko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry. She has recently began studying statistics, dimensional theory and quantum physics in depth. Yuriko has also added aetheric theory to her list of mathematical studies.
Survival and Military: One of the main courses Yuriko took at the academy was survial training. She's adept at land navigation, and shelter construction. And has a nack for locating water and hunting when the need calls for it. However, her signaling for rescue and camouflage still need work.
Culinary: Cooking is a skill Yuriko recently picked up, and is still learning. Though she shows a love for baking and prepairing whole meals. While not the best in the world, she constantly strives to improve. She has also become extremely proficent in several styles of cooking, including italian, and western cuisine.
Entertainment: Dancing is something it seemed Yuriko is very capable of. Particularly bellydancing when she showed an interest in it after reading about it. She is learning to play the violin and can now play it beautifully, despite instances of being stuck on a piece of complex music. Sexually speaking she is new, and has little to no experience.
Maintenance and Repair: Since her time as Chief Engineer Yuriko has devoted sometime, and energy in this area, and has a fairly good understanding of KFY ship systems, able to repair them, and power armors aswell.
Leadership: With her time as executive officer, Yuriko is quite comfortable about issuing orders, being in command, and public speaking. She has also become a masterful tactician and strategist over the course of many long days of study and applying her knowledge to real use. With her new rank, she has also begun to study the basics of diplomacy in the hopes it maybe put into use someday.
Starship Operation Since becoming an officer, and a ship captain, Yuriko has made it a priority to learn the ins and outs of starship operations. Though she is still amateur at best with most of it excluding navigation and piloting to which she has some small prior experience , she strives to constantly improve and become proficient.
Engineering Naturally being able to repair, and maintain a starship's systems, and power armor, being able to design, and improve ship systems, and ship's themselves seemed only a natural step. Yuriko, after much study has become adept in this area.
