Personality: Laura has a frosty demeanour to all she meets, regardless of who they are. She has yet to make any real friends and open up to anyone. She keeps herself isolated and protected in an emotional shell.

She is loyal to the government but sometimes questions her place. As a young clone, Laura is still confused about what her life is about beyond her job as a combat medic. She likes her life and the purpose she gets from being a Marine but, like a curious child, lets her mind explore dreams and possibilities for the future. The military, to her, is the best way for her to go about finding herself since she will, inevitably, meet lots of people and be involved in many adventures.

Despite her slightly childish quirks, Laura is well aware of the harsh realities of the world. She is completely dedicated to the preservation of the Democratic Imperium.

Since joining 4th Fleet, she has adopted the title of “Most Brilliant Medic in the Universe”. Slowly, she seems to be a little more friendly to some of her squad mates. More and more, she treats sex like a game. But when asked by a fellow medic about the concept of love and strong emotional attachment, Laura grew evasive, like a child who had yet to fully understand such a vague, illusory concept.

Heram J. Wazu; for the Nepleslian Marine Corps

Laura was created to be a dedicated medic for the Marines of the 4th Fleet. Her training, aside from standard Marine Corps skills, focused heavily on medical situations, especially on the battlefield. She was also trained to handle battlefield surgery as well as triage.

As part of her training and as an attempt to build upon her skills, Laura was also taught how to operate in a hospital environment with the tools present. She is therefore far more skilled than the average medic and could substitute for the ship's medical officer in a crisis.

Laura joined 4th Fleet right after they finished a mission where members returned wounded in action. She immediately performed surgery on several members and performed checks on all other squad members. Though she performed admirably, no medical record was logged.

Laura was part of an undercover mission to a casino run by the Blacks. Their cover was compromised and Laura found herself without a weapon or role. After obtaining a knife from Cedric Sommerville, Laura made a futile assault on the NMX agent Fhion. She later helped carry Admiral Wazu out and helped the new medic, "Bernie" treat the wounded squad.

Laura was part of the mission to Tange where she engaged the enemy valiantly. As part of Sergeant Volkov's squad, Laura was charged with defending the Kazumori spaceport and ensuring the security of the facility while surviving UOC Peacekeepers fought to safely deliver the Jiyuuian civilians to evacuation ships. She fought in an Aggressor against numerically superior NMX infantry and armor, acting as squad fire support and left the medical duties to Bernie. However, upon seeing the maimed body of Bernhard Greer, she lost all composure. She has been chastised for her temporary dereliction of duty. Laura was amongst the last Marines to board the NSS Destiny before it departed the planet.

For the mission to System 87I, intended to be a quick data snatch, Laura deployed in a VOID. Her unfamiliarity with the suit's advanced systems meant that her contribution was not as much as it could have been. Whilst engaging the NMX Ripper guards outside the objective, Laura was hit by NMX missiles which penetrated her shields and destroyed her fusion mortars. Her injuries were severe enough that her partner recommended evacuating her. Sergeant Phaedra "Wolf" Volkov called in a medical shuttle to retrieve Laura, ending her participation in that mission, much to her chagrin.

Following the mission, Bernhard Greer did a full medical checkup on Laura and found that she was not a true clone of any one person. Instead, she was a custom made “person” who was labeled as a clone, using DNA from a couple deceased doctors. Additionally, Laura was born without any eggs and thus cannot be impregnated. This revelation has only increased the young girl's libido.

Laura received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling and/or killing opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons she is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. The character can repair weaponry with adequate tools and time. The character is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. She is also able to pilot land-based power armors, but must rely on the suit’s A.I. to do anything advanced. Her hand-to-hand skills are much better than her ranged weaponry skills due to her greater hand-eye coordination.

Laura knows how to survive in hostile environments. She can build shelters, hunt and forage for food, build a fire, etc. She can camouflage herself and is familiar with guerrilla warfare tactics.

Your character is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, ships, ground vehicles, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Laura is fluent in Nepleslian. Shge can speak and write it correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. The character is skilled in field communications and is proficient in all rudimentary forms of communication (hand signals, flashing lights, etc).

Laura can understand and give out tactical commands and work with her troop to follow those commands efficiently. He knows the importance of teamwork on the battlefield, has been intensively trained in discipline and morale, and is able to recognize the command structure even while under extreme pressure (combat, etc). She is also able to recognize ambush points. Laura knows basic math in order to calculate distances, etc, and can use a tactical map.

Laura is a clone created for the sole purpose of giving the crew of the NSS Acadia a medic. She is trained in all forms of battlefield medical techniques and can perform basic surgery, given the proper tools and environment. She is also technically proficient with using standard and improvised medical tools to aid in her work. Laura possesses intricate knowledge of Nepleslian, Nekovalkyrja (up to NH-29), Mishhu and Jiyuuian biology. Her technical skills are matchless, leaving her fellow medics in awe. She does not, however, have very good bedside manners since she never received any training about it or heard about it until she met other Nepleslian medics.

This is her primary skill, the reason for her existence. Laura is proud of her skills in this area.

While she takes pride in her abilities to fix humans, Laura is extremely interested in learning to fix and tinker with mechanical components. Much of her free time is spent studying mechanical engineering. Laura had planned to modify her personal power armor as a means to practice her technical skills but gave up. Instead, she uses her knowledge to augment her skills as medic, especially when dealing with wounded Marines inside damaged power armor.
