Ruse is a NPC controlled by Chris Young / Gallant in the Task Force Lantern plot.

A slight framed humanoid of either Jiyuuan or Geshrin heritage. She has short aqua hair, and a single green eye visible from her mask's eye hole. She wears long black pants, a black leather bomber jacket, a long sleeved black and gray shirt with a black and gold collar around the neck and fingerless gloves. She wears a blank oval plate that goes from her hairline, to the base of her jaw. There is a single hole on the left side of the mask.

Ruse, like all the others working for Doppel has given up her original name and life. Who she was, who her family was and who she could have been are all lost to antiquity.

She is best friends with Fake, considers Hoax a dependable asset due to her trap making skills and thinks Mock is a decent fellow. She doesn't have any romantic relationships but isn't adverse to coercion.

• Communications: She is fluent in Trade, Yamatian and Machine Code(Freespacer digital language). She is capable of delivering and receiving messages with minimal loss of contest. Able to handle all Star army based communication technology.
• Fighting:She has small, medium and heavy armament proficiency, unarmed and Light martial melee weapons training.
• Leadership: She is able to command a unit of operatives with minimal reprisal or questioning.
• Knowledge: She has keen understanding of squad on squad combat logistics and rudimentary ship to ship tactical understanding.
• Rogue: She is able to move silently and stealthily from target to target with minimal noise pollution.
• Physical: She has above averagely fit and is stronger then her slight frame would have one believe. Has amazingly high levels of stamina, and can take much more physical abuse then is proper for a woman.
