The Suleo XRASER Rifle is the weapon used by Rapid Reaction Force light infantry.
The gun it self has a very stocky appearance. Unlike its sibling the Suleo XRASER Pistol, Its body is made entirely of light weight plastics, with the exception of the parts that make the weapon function It features a red dot sight, with a X5 magnification setting, and has a cooling port located in the center of the weapon, enabling it to suck in air in the event it starts to over heat. The Battery pack is loaded in under the weapon's stock, and will beep once the weapon is low on ammunition.
The Xraser Rifle was developed by Gartagen Union Engineers in YE 25 in response to requests from officers and troops for a more reliable and powerful Rifle. This was also due to the love they had for the Suleo XRASER Pistol. Once again they got their wish. Using the data they had Suleo XRASER Pistol the Gartagen Union Engineers were able to create a much more lethal offensive weapon that the common soldier could put to good use. The weapon is superior in almost every way to the Edjia Combat Rifle. Its cost however makes it favored by the Rapid Reaction Force with the Gartagen Union Army still clinging to the aging Edjia rifle.
This weapon is intended to be used against enemy soldiers and if necessary against light armor. The Operation is simple: Squeeze the trigger and it fires. On the left side of the gun is a switch that will change from normal mode, to BURST mode. Burst mode lets the weapon discharge a more densely packed XRASER that can punch through light armor. The sight is a simple red dot, that has a magnification option on it. The Battery pack can be removed, and replaced with a new one. Charging a battery pack is done by either hooking it to the Edjia armor, or by hooking them into an adapter that connects to a power source. The weapon typically comes with on adapter, and three replacement battery packs.
The Weapon should be cleaned regularly including the XRASER operating system which if un-shielded by the weapon's housing is prone to getting dirty and influencing the weapon's damage capacity.
