The Otámovi Wiy sect are the scientists, researchers and doctors for the Poku Degonjo Saeruo (Hidden Sun Clan).
The Otámovi Wiy is responsible for maintaining all major equipment, starships, stations used by the Poku Degonjo Saeruo (Hidden Sun Clan). They are also responsible for teaching the members of the other Jaeli (Sects) how to operate and service their vessels while away from the Degonjo Saeruo (Hidden Sun System).
The Otámovi Wiy operate the Ismâo'a (Searcher) - Class Ships. Their mission is to explore and fine new plants, animals, materials to bring back for study. They use these to develop new food sources, medicines and materials for the clan to use.
An additional mission for the Jael is to study and try to adapt acquired technology where possible. If they can not adapt the technology for their use, they study it to find weaknesses that can be used against it.
They operate the Poku Movi Vamâqi (Clan Void Berth), which is their equivalent of a shipyard.
This sect is also responsible for expanding Clan medical knowledge and for for teaching Tenders (medical personnel) for other Jaeli (Sects).
