The Hangar Module is essentially a large open space to accommodate smaller warships.
Much of the module is given to housing the various starships or power armors assigned to the module. Here, they are parked for easy access by maintenance crews.
The forward section of the hangar module is given to launching the starships or power armors. It is separated from the maintenance bay by a large airlock. Once the outer door is opened, the warship or power armor may launch.
The hangar module is constructed from a Nerimium frame and layers of plated Durandium Alloy.
There is a Ace (Command) AI to coordinate launches and landings towards the individual module.
It is powered by a single Miniature fusion reactor cooled by a network of Na-C3-G3102 grids.
The Hangar Module features only basic air filtration and purification systems.
The Hangar Module depends on the main base for shielding
The Hangar Module has no weapon systems but features mounting for optional point defense weapons such as the Fortress system. If used, it could mount eight of these automated weapons.
If no fighters or shuttles are stored, up to 80 power armors may be stored along with weapons, ammunition and a small cache of spare parts.
