The war began with large numbers of Mishhuvurthyar ships of new types have converged on Nataria System and the entrances to the Ketsurui Military Sector in a sudden, powerful attack against Yamatai Star Empire.
Thus far, Yamatai has lost the following systems: Nataria System, Tami System, and Tatiana and Nepleslia has lost its southern expanse (former SMX systems) plus Valaad.
An attack on the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia soon followed, with NMX forces reclaiming the former SMX worlds that made up Nepleslia's Southern Colonial Expanse.
The Second Mishhuvurthyar War was a community-wide meta-plot event.
