Under the direction of the Shimizu Clan headed by Princess Taisho Shimizu Akina ( 清水明菜 ), this company was formed in mid-YE 30 with a primary focus of business all systems in the large area of space known as the Bard Cluster. This came after Motoyoshi Fleet Yards severed ties with former Empress Motoyoshi Katsuko, and is not publicly traded. It is the goal of SASI to offer a place to produce items that cater to many different markets and fields, from civilian merchandise such as medical and mining equipment to military ships that will replace aging designs. Currently the company's biggest project is to build a large colony at the Taiie nebula, where the formal HQ will be placed. Most civilian items are available to any nation, military grade weapons and ships are restricted to the Star Army of Yamatai.
Upon completion of the Taiie Colony, SASI will hold a large tourney of power armor games.
