Given out to brave soldiers, daring crews and triumphant captains; these medals and ribbons are awarded to those who deserve them and prove themselves worthy in service to the Star Army and the Yamataian Empire.
Currently there is no formal uniform to actually wear the medals on; they are more “collectibles” than uniform accessories.
However, when medals are worn, and there are multiples of a certain medal, a numerical pin is worn on top of the award ribbon — “4” for four of the same medal.
