Taii or Daii (大尉; Lieutenant) is the fourth commissioned officer rank in the Star Army of Yamatai after Chui and before Shosa and is the third officer non-training rank. The rank pin consists of a white enamel triangle with the officer's fleet logo nestled in the center of a gold colored metallic heart. Taii are typically bridge officers on larger ships, although it is also extremely common to see them in charge of cargo ships, escorts, and gunships.
