Star Army Uniforms

The uniforms of the Star Army of Yamatai have been widely recognized throughout space since their creation in YE 21. Comfortable, functional, and form fitting, the uniforms incorporate traditional blue of the Yamatai Star Empire.

These uniforms are in active use by Star Army forces. In an effort to minimize logistical costs, the Star Army has recently begun using their new working uniform as its main uniform and eliminated most of its older service uniforms. The last generation of service uniforms were retained as optional extras for light duty use and formal occasions in lieu of a true dress uniform like the now-obsolete “formal whites.”

These uniforms are worn for work or combat and are designed to be especially utilitarian.

• Medical Scrubs (disposable; worn over normal uniform)
• Type 31 Engineering Protective Jumpsuit
• Type 31 Working Uniform (Standard for starships and bases)
• Type 31 Field Uniforms (test types available; used by infantry or other units on ground missions)

These uniforms are typically worn on starships (especially by officers) and for formal occasions.
