Newton Ewell is a highly experienced freelance artist that specializes in mecha art and primarily works within the role-playing games industry, having worked with such companies as TSR Inc, Palladium Books, West End Games, FASA Corporation, and Steve Jackson Games in addition to the Star Army Space Roleplay.
Wes met Newton Ewell for the first time in a “How to Draw Mecha” panel at an anime convention; however, Newton's first Star Army commission was actually the result of Newton reading Wes' request for an artist in 4chan's mecha imageboard about two weeks later.
