OOC Eucharis Discussion

You know.... I had not thought about that. I just assumed that she used doll cutlery and such. Because I know for a fact that Mattel makes Barbie cups and stuff. You just... eyedropper it in there I suppose. Or she drinks out of a large needle like a humming bird. I don't even know.
 
If they still have relative-to-their-size neko strength, I guess they can still use normal knives and forks. They just, you know, look like a pocket-sized conan the barbarian when they do it.
 
That's impractical as all get out. Hilarious, but so very impractical. Just image how hard it would be to get it into bite sized pieces. Nah. You'd have to survive on crumbs of larger foods.

I didn't think the ramifications through when I made this character, and now I have no idea how she survives.
 
I was hoping to make a Yamatain soldier NM-31. If you still have room I would value any advice for making my new character.

Damn it feels good to make a Eucharis post. I have been out visiting family all day (also feels good!) and am still out of town with no easy IRC access but I'm still on the forums every day.

@Pleiades : Let's find something for your character to do. Maybe she can help sort salvage as it comes in?
 
It's vs. Its
One of the most common errors found on RP posts is a misunderstanding of the usage of the word it's. Recently I've been seeing a lot of this in Eucharis RP posts so I feel we need to cover this. I've been editing your posts to fix it but I'm getting tired of it. This guide will help you avoid the error. It's also available on the wiki.

The Basics:
  • “It's” is a contraction of “it is” or “it has” (Examples: “It's illegal to smoke on planet Yamatai,” “It's a trap!”).
  • “Its” is the possessive (Examples: “The ship fired its weapons,” “Its teeth are huge,” “Moving under its own power.”).
The reasons some people make the “it's/its” error is because 's can be added to most objects to show possession (Example: “Hanako's uniform”); however, its is a pronoun so Its has no apostrophe.

Other possessive pronouns do not have an apostrophe either:
  • Theirs
  • Yours
  • His
  • Hers
  • Its
Here are some correct examples of "it's" and "its."
  • its engines
  • its systems
  • its guns
  • its armor
  • on its own
  • its ability to move quickly.
  • it's able to move quickly.
  • it's exciting
  • its excitement

Example: She struggled to free herself from the cable.
 
That's how I tend to write anyway. It's the most common form used on most forums. It's pretty jarring when you then get someone whom writes in first person.
 
I have no idea if I'm guilty of this, but I'm aware that my post quality can be kinda all over the place. So, erm... Yeah, sorry, I'll keep an eye out in future. Cheers for the heads up.
 
There is no hatch or door on the port side of Fox-class shuttle, only a top and bottom hatch and a rear door. The Fox does not have an airlock.

I wrote in response to her statement. Yet, as I wrote this I couldn't help but wonder just how many people would be jarred by my post. Perhaps if it became a big enough issue I would have to purchase more jars so as to compensate for the jarring that might take place.

Ke-T4 Fox must be sending me to the wrong place on the wiki as I took a look at the Ke-T4 Fox in the mission #41 post from you. And been basing my ic rp off of.

Just for general interest, through, the "listening to a planet's magnetosphere on the radio" is actually a real life thing. You can look up most of the solar system's planets on youtube. Toyoe was just keeping a whole bunch of channels open to listen out for enemy chatter, and big planets obviously have more powerful magnetospheres.
