It's been a little while, but I had an idea for another little vignette from the melancholy life of Komatsu Elena. This time in mini-comic format.
Komatsu is a private investigator now, a step up from hard labor to be sure, but still not quite the same as piloting a starship.
I'm still getting used to using Clipstudio instead of Photoshop. I'm starting to get the hang of brushes again, but getting a good variable line width continues to be difficult.

So I've found that by using some free online tools we can create and animate character faces:
Artbreeder.com allows us to make realistic faces for free
MyHeritage, a family tree site, has a tool that animates faces from photos using some AI-based deepfake style process and it works on Artbreeder faces (signup is required unfortunately)
Placeit.net allows us to take the animated face videos and convert them to gifs as well as crop them and resize (also requires an account)
When you combine these three things, you get character face animations like these:
Update: Looks like you can only make 5 animations on the family tree site before it starts hitting you up for money.

You guys have probably seen that I've been using the machine-learning based site Artbreeder.com lately, which is a site that uses trained algorithms to generate faces and other things, and you can adjust them and mix them and so on. Well, since the creations are all free to use, I've started putting together character art using them. At first I'd just use the faces but I want them to be more unique to Star Army so I've started adding backgrounds and SARP details. There's also a full-body character concept art generator and I've figured out ways to take the nice looking faces from the portrait section and combine them with the bodies from the fullbody section to make some really good looking fullbody character artworks. So one of the things I love is hearing about different hobbies and passions people have. So to also learn abit about a few people here would love to hear about some of your hobbies.
Now also to give abit of my self to everyone here i'll talk about some of my hobbies. One of the big hobbies I do is miniature wargaming mostly warhammer but I also love historical war-games with WW2 and some cold war era miniatures.I really enjoy doing narratives and having games that show off abit of a story, maybe your doing a campaign and though your chips are down your still fighting on. The table top adds to the narrative since you can't always predict it like a real story.

Being a fan of the T33 NSP's design, and being the owner of a UP! 2Plus 3D printer, i set out to make a lifesize prop of the iconic SAoY sidearm!
Step 1: 3D modeling.
I have asked Wes before if he still had the 3D model available used in the NSP's concept render, but sadly this wasn't the case. So using the NSP's 3D art i completely modeled a new one. It took a fair bit of time, but it was worth it!

Well, I thought I would share some of my art, I don't really do art as in pencil or paint. Though sometimes I am creative in that area and try to do so, I am very basic at that. But my passion is more in the photos and I love making them as clean as possible. I just never submitted a fullbody without a BG so I wanted to do it x'D
Anyway- gosh it seems like it's been a long time since I last submitted an illustration!!!
I was working on other things, just nothing to submit unfortunately- this is the first thing
I made that I actually can submit since my computer is back up!
I tried to draw maybe a sexy looking pose????!!! I wanted to fit the character- so the awesome person who commissioned this xImmortalxPrincess suggested a pose so this was referenced so I could get it right Q V Q; I also figured out a pretty handy way at drawing hair so that's a video idea if you guys would like to see it!

In YE 38, Aeta Nanao was created much like other Nekovalkyrja; but her destiny was to become part of something greater and more grand than the traditional run-of-the-line soldier within Yamatai. After exceptional performance and scores, she was picked for the opportunity to join SAINT.
Although she has little battle experience, being a supersoldier helps tremendously to ensure Aeta is prepared for her role in the field alongside others.
