With all the art being scattered around our wiki, sometimes it's hard to get a sense of just how many artworks we've got, and we may have missed many new artworks simply because they were for characters not in the same plots as us. So I'm making this thread where I plan to post them all. You guys are welcome to discuss them as they appear.

I know I haven't been here for three months, thus I am supposed to be unable to contribute new races or stuff like that to the site yet. Alright, so here's the deal: Star Army is currently going through the summer slump that all online RPGs go through every year. There are too few RP posts each day and several of the plots have died. Since the 4chan ads have ceased, the influx of new players has slowed to nothingness. The players who stuck around are excellent, but I feel it's time to expand this circle of friends, or at least make up for the roleplayers lost over the inevitable real-life schedule conflicts and such. We're doing well, but I think we could do better.

Hey all, I was recently commissioned by Wes to do 4 full body portraits so I thought it would be a good idea to get a forum account so I can post the sketches here for approval and get feedback and whatnot. ^^

So, there are a couple of things I want to accomplish with this civilian-grade 750 meter battleship.
First and foremost, I want this to resemble(to a reasonable degree) the battleships of WWII. I think I've done that but I'm still open to ideas.
Second, I want it to have that broadsider, punching bag feel. Sooo, I'm looking for ideas on how I can make this ship a shield monster. I'm considering making those 'torpedo' things shield boosters/extenders that can be launched and flown from the bridge. This ship is going to primarily see use against raiders preying on cargo ships so it would be nice to be able to send them away to protect a damaged ship.
Third, NO AETHER WEAPONRY. These guns need a hefty BANG. I'm looking into several types...

Now that Ageha is officially on the Senbu (Well, at least as far as the JP has been played, even if it hasn't been posted yet.) I figured I'd update the old artwork. I fixed the base color to the standards on the wiki and actually put some effort into the patches, insignia and shading. I might go back later and edit the barrettes to be a little more distinctive, but overall I'm happy with how the image turned out, at least for another hour or so and decide it's trash. :V

I figured I might as well make a thread since I do quite a bit of 3D Modeling, some of it can be found on my deviant arts page, but most of it you won't find.
The reason being is because a large portion of my work is unfinished. Either I lost the motivation (which happens quite often thanks to an ungreatful friend of mine, who enjoys taunting about him being better... (strangles friend) :evil: ) or I can't figure out how to improve the model.
I have here listed a few of the completed models, and some that are completed. Now, if at some point in the future can these models be used on this site? Well, that's completely up to the GMs and admin, they are not very textured and most have matte-black hull styles.

In my quest to find more artwork for StarArmy, we've found a few great character artists but so far we've had basically nothing for mechanical stuff, like power armors and starships--that should change. On 4chan's /m/ forum I ran into the artist and local anime convention guest Newton Ewell. Newton has illustrated Roleplay books (including Palladium's Macross RPG) and is a real professional. Unfortunately, he also charges some heavy duty prices ($150 per piece). Anyway, Newton offered to do illustrations for Star Army and today I'm going to commission him to start out with the Mindy M2-2.
It started with me making a couple of fake cards based on the Sakura crew and expanded to an entire work-in-progress set, complete with its own game mechanics.
That's right, a Star Army Magic set. There is no doubt now.
I use a program called Magic Set Editor for this. It's in a useable state but it's a bit buggy.

After looking around for a few hours for inspirational pieces, I came across the Nekovalkyrja and was instantly struck with awe and inspiration.
This is the song based upon the Nekovalkyrja. Imagine one in combat while listening. The song has brutal aspects of pure warfare, but a lighter side of the sadness of combat and how some Nekovalkyrja are not entirely destructive by nature.

I'm not really a role player much anymore (although I do have a "total immersion" scenario for my sci-fi series Starship Moonhawk™ which I beta tested with mild success 3 years ago on our forum). Yuki Kenichi TOWERS over other Geshrin at a height of over six feet, three inches, and is even taller than his younger brother, Toshiro, who is six feet tall.
Though built like a brick wall, Kenichi is a very likable and easygoing guy off duty, but knows when to toughen up and do his job. He is very respectful to his superiors, and is a Ronin Elite Pilot, though a bit of customization was needed to accomodate his height.
Yuki Kenichi went MIA during the destruction of Ralfaris in YE 26, and is presumed dead.
