YSS Eucharis, Outside Cabin 3
Junko stared at the door. She'd been standing here for a minute, just... staring at the door.
She breathed out, tried to calm her nerves down. Ever since she'd found out she was getting transferred back to the Eucharis, she'd made some peace with how inevitable this conversation would be. Freyja deserved answers, and she deserved to answer for what she'd done. Or, rather, what she hadn't done, as your perspective might be.
What she feared, though, was this being their final conversation as... friends, for lack of a better term. Freyja was the first thing in her short life that made her feel like she was worth something. Not equipment, not a body count, not a weapons platform with an opinion, not a mass-produced thing so dull and bland as to be standard issue. Without that in her life, however near or far, she'd be... lesser.
Junko knocked on the door.
