A question of Anime

I'm new and I was wondering, do you recommend experience in computer-drawn anime? A whole buncha people have avatars and such that have computer anime in them. I'm not that good of an anime drawer, let alone trying to use my mouse to draw it.

What do you mean by "recommend experience?"

It's hard for me to categorize computer-generated art as "anime," though.

But you do need to know a lot of math to do CG.

Mostly Algebra and Trig.

That and CG is only considered Anime if it accompanies animated objects of some sort.

Im not sure about other avatars
Mine is hand drawn; colored with Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Fireworks.

CG is everywhere
But needs not be used to excess

Nor is it necessary for you to understand a damn thing about art

I use pixlr.com and it's never let me down! It is in-browser and lacks some of the features of photoshop, but on the whole is comparable and a good resource for making anime-ish images!
