Okay! You can call me Zeldan. I've been looking for a place to do Sci-fi roleplays for a very long time and it seems like this is the perfect place to do it. I'm very excited yet very confused too! There is so much lore and process that goes with this site and it's so new to me. I've never seen such an organized roleplay. So I will slowly grab the hang of this and hopefully be adding to the lore in no time. If I do become ignorant of things please help me along, I really really want to be apart of this community! Thanks!

I can't stress this enough. Ask questions. It's really the best way to learn. I spent so much time PMing people and sifting through the wiki.

@Zeldan :: Yes wiki is daunting and filled with well thought out information of the various factions. I looked over the plots that interested me and then to character development for the plot I wanted to join first. Then to the wiki for more in-depth info about the plot and the characters I would be interacting with.

Contact the Plot GM to assist you in helping to develop a character that will be compatible with his/her storyline. After all its up to the GM that would allow the character into the plots storyline. As you develop your character, you'll be getting the immersion into the wiki info on the faction, technology it has and other characters involved.

Best to take the wiki in small doses as you become more familiar with the various faction as information is always being updated, improved and more info being added. Just Focus on what interest you the most before diving into other factions.

Three things that are important:
1) Character Creation for the faction that interest you the most. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Take the critics in stride as they're pointing out things you've missed and helping you out to have the best possible starting character

2) Take your time in learning more about the faction and plot you've joined. Get involved in the OOC Discussion of the plot you've joined for ideas and helpful pointers while you write creatively

3) Relax and have fun.

Welcome to SARP and enjoy your stay here.
