Ok, a couple of things before I link you, this is not the final design as I'll probably want to write some more descriptions and tweak certain things, but is more an opportunity to get input on what people think about it. Yes, there will no doubt be spelling and grammer mistakes, but please save pointing them out until I get to the final version ;)

So, vent your spleen if need be, otherwise all questions / comments / ideas are welcome :)

Some points I'd like to draw attention to:

Ship mass - is there a standar way of calculating this? I just took a very rough volume approximation and assumed 0.5 ton / m^3... and then I might have halved that, I think...

Crew - again, ideas on how many crew you think should be onboard, and justification for numbers would be most awesome.

Anything else that should be aboard a DSR? With nodal technology I don't see much point to keeping stocks of parts, rather just tanks of femtomachine-laced primary elements (doh, add this to the page! >_<), but if there are any other sections that you think would be of value to this ship please share your ideas.

Erm, yeah, can't think of anything else now, so... gogogo!

[edit] Changed subject title to reflect the name change.

Ship mass - There's no real way of knowing, unfortunately. Usually I just guess, based on dimensions.

Crew- Probbaly no all that many since the ship is mostly automated.

The stats say there's escape pods and such, but the hull picture is featureless.

I don't really like seeing Star Army stuff on a non Star Army website. :/

I haven't gone through this with a comb yet, but this is a bit that stood out:

Range: Limited only by the lifespan of the vessel. Life-support can support the crew for 20 years.
Lifespan: The vessel is estimated to operate for at least 50 years of constant use.

At current technological standards, a ship of this size's life support systems can support crews for centuries.
And the lifespan ... this is a repair craft. It should be able to repair itself, and thus increase its lifespan indefinatley.

Hmm, k.
The pictures are currently there to give an idea of the shape, just something quick and nasty for now. I'll see about adding detail to it.
The only reason it's hosted where it is is because I didn't want to convert it to bbcode to paste it into the post and then convert any changes back to the HTML (last time I tried HTML in a post it didn't work), and this seemed like the easiest option to take. I'll have a go at pasting in here and see how it goes. I'd expect that if/when it gets approved that you'll put it on the Star Army server and then I'll just take that page down, either way.

I'll blame that on the Sakura template >_>; On that note, what is the actual limiting factor for life-support systems in ships? I would have thought that with a consistant supply of energy, elements and femtomachines that any Star Army ship could theoretically keep people alive indefinately, and by the same token the ship held together and in working condition for the same span of time.

[edit] Tried pasting the html into the post, and despite the options when making a post insiting that 'HTML is ON', it isn't, just converts everything so that it displays the code in the post.

There's no legitimate reason for this thing to have a MEGAMI system...how about WIES or EIES?

Also, you put "Naoranai Gunship."

Hmm, ok then. I actually wasn't really aware of W/E/C-IES, had never read the descriptions and figured when I saw them that they were a predecessor of the MEGAMI system. You learn something new every day. Alrighty, replaced with WIES. In the description for it I replaced "The WIES systems actively defend and maintain themselves; they create their own NH-12 and NH-17 weapons to do so." with 28 and 29, is this acceptable or would they use something else? (I would assume that 12 and 17's are a bit outdated for this by now.)

Blamed on find and replace... fixed.

Er, the 29 is fine, but I don't think we (for game reasons) really want a bunch of 28s being produced, lol.

I can make the change when I put it on the website. Approved!

Hey, wait a second, I just noticed the name of the ship means "to not cure."

What's up with that?

I Wikified the webpage for the Anri amidst a glorious battle with the SRP table. Can a couple of the more knowledgeable people look over the SRP costs and tell me if I'm anywhere close to right with them? Thanks.

What's the story with 23 Nanotech systems?
