I believe I can introduce myself here. Yes? Alright good.

Anyway hello my name is Skyler I've been role playing for quite awhile and notice this rp forum by chance in some advertisement on another rp forum (ironically for me in a way) and decided to join. At first I'm amazed at the amount of detail put into this forum and hopefully I can suck it all in. Apart from that I hope I have fun here and make some good friends.

Also please forgive my grammar. I'm French.

Well, first off, welcome to the forum. And don't worry about spelling and grammar, you'll improve bit by bit.

Second, don't worry about taking it all in at once, just get to know it bit by bit as you make your character(s) and explore the universe.

Thanks for the welcoming. Second I prefer reading as much as I can at first. So I have about a few hours to kill before work so off to it!

Welcome to the SARP Skyler,

I am one of the Site Administrators. I also run one of the Yamatai plots.

As there are quite a number of pages of information on the site, I would suggest that you start by reading the New Players Guide if you haven't already and then familiarize yourself with the factions. Each faction has unique aspects, technology, how they operate, types of characters, etc. Once you find a faction that catches your interest, you can then delve deeper into their pages.

Thanks for the welcome Nash. I've been reading up and starting to understand things little by little

Also your age... It so uncommon...

Welcome! It's great to see new faces around here and I hope you'll feel at home. This community may be old but we make a special effort to make sure new players are really included on a roleplay and on a community level.

You should talk with Fred if you get a chance - he's the GM of the YSS Miharu and also a French speaker.

Yeah, I believe I am the most senior gamer on the SARP age wise. My youngest son is turning 18 next week.

@Wes: I prefer old over new. Means there experience, well establish setting along with a large community and last organize forum.

@Old Man: Your the oldest role player I met! Even older then my father! Say happy birthday for your kid for me... No wait that just creepy.

EDIT: Who's the local artist? That person has talent!

There are actually multiple. You can find a fair amount of art and artists in that section of the Non-Roleplay Related, but I believe there's also a section on the wiki which has links to the majority of their homepages.

Alright! New blood! Always fun to bring new members into the community.

Welcome to SARP, Skyler. I hope you enjoy your time here as much as we have.
