Sure, and due to your Indian heritage you will be able to easily withstand the heat and mosquitoes. You might even be able to find where I am.

I'll be in the castle, when you see me it will be from the other end of a Venetian cannon. 16th Century.

Now an important question, who would be heading up this plot? Meaning who would have the captain?

This is important for my decision whether to move a character or to make a new one, but I'll probably make a new one really.

I only have three characters that would work: Ahearn (he's busy), Arild (after I get back I presume he'll go back to the Confidence, although the Mikomi is doing very well as it is), and Apesael (Busy, I need at least one character in the Destiny plot).

quiet dan-creature! :O

Incidentally, the YSS Imperial would be a good name, in my opinion. Works well with the star empire, and also goes back to victorian days...

Wes spoke to me about this Thomas, and he thought that Arild would Captain the ship. This is fine by me. I was thinking about bringing over Henako to the ship. As I already have three character.

Not quite.

For - 3
Against - 1 (YOU)
Haven't stated - 2

Oh look .... WE WIN!

Tomohawk may be the name of a Navy ship, but it still doesn't work.

Coer de Lion works because it is a reference to one of Britains greatest kings, a warrior king, a crusader. He's brilliant. Just because he spoke French does not mean anything, he was British. Next - Excalibur is WELSH OR CORNISH, BASED ON AN IRISH MYTH!!!!! So language is not important.

Imperial is good, I do like the imperial age, our empire. We did it for there own good you know.

...Two character rule breaking pwnz ;)

Enehu, Karin will be transferred... Will write SP on how she came to be headed there as opposed to back to NC...

Alright. Arild it is then. Uhm ... give me a few days ... and then the ship can be Onslaught class! I like that idea, although I suppose any other ship will do.

I'm just developing the last few of the Onslaughts weapons, twiddling some figures etc. It's going to be NovaCorp's first Battleship.

Yes, Arild will do well.

The onslaught... is crewed by robots, no? Doesn't that make the organic crew superfluous? I mean, even neko are outdone by androids, who don't have biological limitations to worry about...

Thomas I do not want to argue, it's just that you are being very rude about all of this. Not even listening to people's suggestions (MINE). And listening to those who have been on good terms with you (ROB).

Oh look .... WE WIN!

I can't believe you! that is unbelievably rude, as well as stupid. We are not fighting for anything, we are talking about a name, Thomas a name. A name that is for our ship, we are on the same side.

The Captain is always organic, a last bit or prejudice, and elements of the crew can be organic as well. The Custodians just make up the rest of the crew.

I'm actually quite a fan of that.

Oh, and Having some experimental weapons on board, such as an NH-18. I'm sure we could develop a plot on those ideas.

You where working under the assumption that it was a draw, I was simply pointing out that it wasn't.

Now ... those are my favourites, but there are many other good names. Imperial and Ozymandias are certainly good.

Which ones are your favoured other than Tomohawk? Which I've pointed out doesn't really work.

Would every ship of the Onslaught class have a name beginning with an O? That'd be a neat tie-in with the RN's naming practices in the early half of the 1900's.

Depending on the type of plot, I may transfer my character there when it is possible, or make a new one if it is not as I've got pretty strange hours.

No ... the Onslaught class has names which are decided on by the AI that possess' them. They tend to be around war and destruction, but not always.

xD aside from just finding a listing of one "HMS Decoy", I've been looking through RN ship names, and think that:

Dreadnought (yay!)
Cygnet
Illustrious
Renown
Vanguard
Valiant
Adamant
Archer
Condor
Drake
Indomitable
Ocelot
Sceptre
Sparrowhawk
Ulysses
Vixen
Walker

Are pretty good :D

Ozymandias
This is a TERRIBLE name! Not only was Ozymandias fictional (and NOT related to the Star Army universe OR Britain in any way), but he was a self-worshipping tyrant who empire was destroyed, with its last remaining remnant an arrogant statue.

I like Dreadnught, Cygnus (great name for the swan-shaped Sakura gunship), Valiant (the name of two great ancient Nepleslian starships, a destoyer and a cruiser). I'd also like to again point to the list I made:
British-Themed Ship Names:
Excalibur
Revenge
Intrepid
Hood
Enterprise
Dreadnought
Victory
Ark Royal
Repulse
Invincible
Grand Mistress
Sovereign
Nemesis
Furious
Dauntless

No no no~! I wanted to call Kotori's ship like that. X__X

*looks at Kotori's rank* well, eventually...

Well, anyhow, I have dibs on bird names and if Rufus can give a star system a name, I'm naming one pretty planet as 'Phoebe' someday, so BLEH ! *sticks tongue out*

(not actually serious about this, though if I could have named my ship, I had been thinking about "Rafale", "Tempest" and "Swan/Sygnus")

So many names, only one ship... unless, of couse, we get a task force :O

I like Dreadnought, Valiant, Archer and Vanguard most myself...

Heh, YSS Archer has a nice ring to it. It's nothing you hear everyday, sounds forceful and dignified at the same time.

I'll choose Valiant because it's a nice name to have show up in a game. Not original... but it has some class.

I am not choosing Excalibur because I'm not sure it even means a thing to japanese people in terms of culture. It's like having the NASA call their next space shuttle "Masamune"...

And Dreadnought is mispelled. Not voting for it =P
