Q: Why does your medical ship have no medical facilities!?
A: Writing tech articles is hard. There will be a containerized medical facility article sometime soon and when that is done I'll plug it in here. In the mean time we just have locals pretending to be doctors with lots of band-aids and kisses for people.



This is a bit lower quality than I'd like, mostly because I want to get it off my plate. This should be enough for a basic ship though.

Just to clarify, @Zack - the C7 can only carry U7 transports, right?

I ask because with the article’s current wording it’s implied that the C7 can carry any kind of small craft in its hangar bays - and, after a bit of number-crunching, I found that roughly thirty U-1s can fit into the space occupied by a single U7. Multiply that by 48, and you have a carrying capacity of over fourteen hundred (1,440 to be exact) autonomously-piloted U-1s per C7.

A ship with that many strike craft is called a carrier, which is classified as a capital ship under the Military Buildup Limitations - however the C7, with its lack of armament and poor defenses, is most definitely a not a “capital ship” by any means. It’s a military support ship.

I don't think anyone's intending to use this for anything other than relief efforts Frost, though I can understand your concern. I worked with Zack to make sure it was clear that this ship wasn't intended for combat in any sense. It's just here to help people.
