RP: The Wayward Collection (Ep. 1.2)

Syaoran

Retired Staff
Anbruch

Taking their time after their operation to relax and bond a little, as well as guard their current prisoners the ship had just arrived at Dawn station. Embel Hugar and Shadow took turns monitoring the prisoners to make sure they behaved, with the Geboku filling in their roll while they were gone. Everything had gone smoothly and it was decided that they would hand them over to OriSec once they arrived.

When they arrived however Tanja gave the crew an hour to do what they needed and she would handle the prisoners and getting their pay from their employer. With those simple instructions she left the team to their own devices.

Dawn Station - Bar - 1 Hour Later

Quinn and Analiese had arrived at the station a few hours ago after catching a ride on a small transport ship. Along with whatever gear they decided to bring along was box that could fit in Quinn's lap with the logo for Cranth Munitions and Services on it. Those a little more in the know about international companies would know Cranth does mostly custom work as well as producing a few weapons of their own. The box was a bit heavy to be a single gun but only 1 could fit if you were shipping it safely, it could possibly be ammunition but a custom order of ammunition?

What ever was in the box the only way to know would be opening it, but The Anbruch had arrived already, and Veronica informed the two to meet the crew at a Bar on the station where they were now, sitting at a table marked as reserved for the crew of the Anbruch with a little sign. The crew would show up after having handled their own independent business.

Dawn Station - Bar

Embel walked to the bar after she sent her pay to her family, she saw the table and sat down, she was wearing her red high heal shoes, black hip shorts and a red T-shirt as she didn't think it would matter and she waited for the others playing with her jewellery, she didn't want to drink alone so waited for one of the others to come before ordering anything, she hoped that either Hugar or Shadow would share a drink with her, they were both interesting in their own ways.

Dawn Station

Analiese walked around with Quinn, her hair not in the intricate braid up do that it was in the day before, this time in a simple braid that falls down her back. She wore a pair of cargo pants and a short sleeved shirt. The only shoes she owned were the boots she had when she first met him. Looking around, she was rather glad she wasn't alone.

"You're sure they will accept me?" She had asked this the night before, but she was starting to feel worried once more. She wasn't used to this whole experience yet. She had new clothes, a new hair style, and now she was going on a new adventure...this one of her own choosing!

Dawn Station - En Route To Bar

After some minor shopping, and picking out a violin, Quinn was currently steering Analiese towards the Bar they'd been told to show up at to meet the others. At the moment he felt like a pack mule, his own bag settled across his back, the guitar strapped to that, and the shiny new violin case in his free hand. He'd insisted on carrying Analiese's new things in another pack that he now had in his other hand. He gave her nervous-seeming question a confident smile. "Yes. I promise not everyone is like the three you've had to hang around with lately." He glanced around and then spotted the sign for the place they wanted. "Should be in there."

Dawn Station - Bar

Hugar followed Embel all the way to the bar, and took a seat with her, quickly ordering a water and leaning back closing his eyes. The large Helashio rather stood out in comparison to the smaller Gartagen female. He scratched his head a bit seeming a little un-nerved, despite it being 'relaxation' time.

Dawn Station - Bar

"Hey Hugar" She grinned and got herself some milk and smiled happily "So how did you spend your money?" she smiled as her tail sways around with her.

Dawn Station - Outside of Bar

Ana nodded and tried to give him a small smile. She remembered their outing the day before and how different it could be for her since she is no longer a slave...or as some tried to say "indentured servant." Spotting the sign soon after he said something, she nodded and walked with him to the door. Since his hands were full, she grabbed the door and held it open for him. "After you," she said softly, more in a shy voice than subservient one.

Once he had gone through, she would simply follow him to where the table was located, staying back just enough to see who was there already. She still wasn't used to being in places like this, so though the atmosphere was more jovial all around her, she was still rather subdued.

Dawn Station - Bar
"Thank you." That was the first thing out of his mouth when she held the door open for him. He slid inside and waited for her before heading for the table that had been set aside for them. He paused when she did, not willing to abandon her after the past few day's they'd had together. He easily picked out the Gartagen girl Veronica had mentioned earlier, Embel his memory provided, and he wasn't sure who the big Helashio was who sat beside her but he knew he'd find out eventually. He glanced down to Ana, shifted her pack to the hand that held his violin case and he let her know his touch was coming before he gently took her hand. "Come on. You don't have to talk and I'm pretty sure they don't bite." He waited for her to move though, wanting her to make the decision to go to the table.

Dawn Station - Bar

Hugar looked down at Embel for a moment and smiled. "I put it in savings, I don't need to spend the money...all the money I get will be going towards finding my sister, and once I find her, giving her the education she deserves so that she can recover from being a slave and make her way in life." He smiled a bit. That was his goal, but then he frowns lightly, he didn't even know if she was still alive, or in the condition to school, or have a good life. For all he knew, she was knocked up in some whore house a million miles away with 5 children and another on the way. This caused him to slump a bit, the normally happy and optimistic Helashio showing a moment of weaknesses. He, however, perked up and looked over at the woman and male approaching, his head tilting to the side as his red hair shifted to his shoulder, and his eyes watch them. "Do you know who they are?" He asked Embel quietly.

Dawn Station - Bar

Embel looked at the people "No I don't know then Hugar" she looked up at the man and woman "Hello there, you two, you seem to be looking for someone, need some help to find them?" She grinned and her tail lay across Hugar by accident, she didn't notice it happen and didn't mind where it was.

Dawn Station - Bar

Analiese stayed near Quinn, not quite sure what to make of the two she was seeing at the table. She had seen many different species of beings since being on Waypoint Trade and now at Dawn Station. Ana kept just behind Quinn, studying the two and wishing her hair was hiding her eyes at the moment.

Quinn gave Embel an easy smile when she finally spoke up to him and Analiese. He glanced around and then had to lift his head over his shoulder to catch sight of where she'd shuffled off to. Of course he was still holding her hand at that point but he wanted to make absolutely sure he knew where she was. His head moved back to study Embel and Hugar and he finally encouraged Ana to move a little closer so he didn't have to raise his voice to be heard. "No. Actually we don't but thank you for offering to help." He gave Embel a charming smile. "I'm Quinn Cathal and this shy creature behind me is Analiese." He attempted to encourage her to come out where they could better see her but if she didn't want to he wasn't going to force her. "We're here to talk to Tanja about joining the crew." He finally put Ana's pack and his violin down at his feet, figuring that was as good a place as any if Ana wanted to remain where she was.

DawnStation bar
Gently pushing open the door Shadow stooped under the doorway he was used to doors not being the right height unless he broke a wall. Seeing his new friends Embel and Hugar talking to some new comers he walked over quietly and placed his hands on the new bloods shoulders "Hay what'd I miss it looks like we've found some new friends, they here to join the ship?" removing his hands the id-sol moved round the newcomers to sit by Hugar.

Ana jumped a little when her shoulder was touched suddenly and she stiffened, waiting until the other let her go. She was shaking visibly now and even more frightened. Shaking her head, she turned to head back out. This was just a bit too much for her, meeting new people. A bunch of new people all at once at that!

Quinn didn't jump when Shadow laid a hand on his shoulder, though his now empty fingers twitched reflexively. He could feel Analiese stiffen up and start to panic. He released her hand, letting her retreat while he slid his guitar off his back, put it with his violin and then set his duffle bag down with the rest of it. "I will thank you all in advance to not touch her." Then he turned around and went after Ana, attempting to catch her before she could actually reach the door and flee out into the station beyond. "Analiese, Come back. I promise I won't let the big guy hurt you. We talked about this."

Ana stopped at the sound of Quinn's voice behind her, but didn't turn around. Her shoulders slumped as she remembered what he had said and nodded. "I know...don't freak when others touch. Or at least try not to. Understand that, for the most part, people do normally. It's how they interact." Her voice sounded calm, in spite of how she was reacting. Though Quinn could detect the small quiver that showed just how much she was straining to remain so. Slowly, she turned around and looked up at Quinn. "But I didn't know he was there."

Embel sighs and flicked Shadow with her tail "I am so sorry for the big guy, he is a lot to handle but he means well" she looks at the girl "Hey its okay Analiese, girl to girl I am the same, I am more use to it after being with people" she gets up and walks to the guy and the girl, standing at 5 foot 2 she was quite small "I am Embel, a Gartagen and I am pleased to meet you to~."

Hugar felt Embel's tell on his lap, and he didn't mind it at all, he began idly stroking it watching the others interact quietly. He nodded to the two in hello, but otherwise didn't really speak up. He felt Embel's tail leave him only to smack Shadow for being a big dumb dumb. He couldn't help but slowly rub the bridge of his nose with an exasperated sigh before looking back towards the two of them. "Forgive them, they are rather eager to meet new people and sometimes can come on a little strong..." He looked up towards the ceiling and sighed once more, he couldn't help but worry about Tanja, despite the fact he knew she was okay. "Tanja isn't here at the moment, but she should be back within the hour... As such please, join our table and enjoy our company if you'd like." He stood up now before moving over, the man was by far one of the largest Helashio they have probably seen, standing at seven foot, one inches, and Arnolded out in terms of muscular structure. "I am Hugar, Navigations and Biological expert on The Anbruch. Its a pleasure to meet you both." He bows, since he spent the last seven years studying in Yamatai, habits formed.

Ana looked over as Embel approached and studied the other one, noting the tail. She could be okay with meeting this one, since they are the same height. She started to smile a little at her, but froze when Hugar also came over. She didn't run again, this time, but she did back up just a bit to be sure she wasn't crowded. She glanced at Quinn and then looked back at Hugar, confused. "What is Navi-ga-shons and Bio-whatsits?" She had never heard those words before. At least not that she can remember.

"I didn't know he was there either. I asked the-" He was of course interrupted by Embel's appearance and introduction, and then Hugar moved in and introduced himself, and finally when he had a spare moment Analiese spoke up, most likely to him rather than Hugar though that was up to some debate at this point in time. When they all seemed to be done talking for a moment Quinn cleared his throat and continued where he'd left off. "I've asked them not to touch you again." He gave the two who'd come over a slight smile. "Embel, Hugar, nice to meet you both." And returning to Analiese's question he added. "Nav-i-gey-shun and Biological," He corrected gently. "Means he pilots the ship and is an expert in studying living things." He could have provided the dictionary definitions of each word, but she doubted she'd completely understand, so simple it was.
