During an episode of MEGA madness amongst us Elysian FMs, I was scrolling through Yamataian games.
And from the formless void's gaping maw, there springs an entity.
EVE references aside, I now have what looks like the beginnings dev-notes of a SARP RTS game that could feasibly be coded and sold on Steam. Except I am stuck.
Currently I'm trying to make every faction both somewhat balanced to each other, all while feeling unique gameplay-wise, if you imagine yourself playing that faction.
The Google Doc I'm using to write everything down is here, but currently I'd both like pointers as to where my factual mistakes are (asking people in Discord only goes so far, especially when I have to translate tactics and unique features into a gameplay mechanic; Neplesia and Lorath were really stretching it) as well as helping me out with the last two factions, which are the Hidden Sun Clan and the Neshaten.
Please write suggestions in this thread. Anyone is welcome to comment, even if you don't know much about the factions game balance suggestions are still good. And even if you don't know game balance well, small flavor suggestions work too. I've already crossed the line between sanity and insanity so let's see how far I can go towards making this into what is essentially the draft for a game that can be coded by a professional development team and made into an RTS.

And no, I hope the name won't be Asterform at the end. It was a poke straight at Starcraft suggested by @Arbitrated but I'm also kind of looking for an original title. Although I will stick with it if I have to.
