Hello folks. How are you?

So, this website's pretty cool looking. I've been involved on-and-off in forum roleplay for... most of my life, and to be honest a great deal of it was wasted time. I got sick of only being able to RP in one anime/video game/etc (where by the way, nothing you do is canon, but yet you must strictly adhere to 'rules' established by the anime/game/etc that the forum RP's in), or on the rare occasion I found a forum based on an original universe, it had unceremoniously died years ago, a virtual wasteland of creativity, inhabited only by a single lone wanderer.

Star Army's impressed me. I've been lurking for a few weeks now (had to make sure, you understand I hope), and I can't find any faults. I like the site design, I love the wiki, I love the universe so far. This project, this site, it's clear a lot of love and effort was put into it, so, if'n you don't mind taking in a wanderer of this fair internet, I'd love to be part of this universe as well. Happy posting with you.
 
Weeks is not unusual! I've seen some people lurk for years before they finally join. But I'm glad you did. And I'm not going to pressure you to immediately make a character and stuff. If you want to just sit around for a while making up planets and stuff that's cool too.

Star Army has been around a while but there's still so much to do expanding the universe and there's endless stories to be roleplayed and characters to create. It's a site that's very much what you make of it. You're very welcome here and I'm honored you chose to join.
 
Thank you for the warm welcome, friend. I'm not sure I know the universe well enough to worldbuild just yet - when I go into the wiki and say, "Today I'll read about a faction" I inevitably end up back in the power armor sections. Starship Troopers and The Forever War are two of my favorite books, so I guess it can't be helped. *Sometimes* I'll admit to liking the Starship Troopers movie, but only when I'm thrashed on cheap beer.

I must say I'm quite taken with Nepleslia as a whole, so, perhaps i'll start there character-wise, though everyone seems pretty cool so far.
 
Well, feel free to ask questions in here, or even better, in the IRC. There's almost always someone around to help out (me, if no one else, now that I'm back), and if we can't answer your questions, we can point you to someone who can.
