From Taii Kakutama Yuriko To Nepleslian Government

I offer greetings to the leaders of Nepleslia, and well wishes.

I am Taii Kakutama Yuriko, commander of the YSS Asamoya, under joint command of the First Expeditionary Fleet, and Fifth Expeditionary Fleet. I am sending this message to you as a sign of good, and honest intentions. While relations between our two peoples seem tenuous, I hope you will hear me out on a matter of some importance.

During YE 29 myself, and the crew of the ship I was serving on entered, and raided the Splorfin system. Things did not go as planned however. The samurai attached to the ship, a loyal, and dear friend as close to as a blood relative as they come of mine was captured by SMX forces. Her tenure as a samurai is now over, however I have recently found evidence suggesting she maybe still alive, and out deep in former SMX territory. Territory that is now under Nepleslian jurisdiction and rule.

My request is simple, my intentions just, honorable, and honest. I offer no tricks, or subterfuge. I am simply asking for passage into your territory into deep former SMX space to search for her. I have a several theories as to her location, but only by searching can I be sure. I will submit myself to any test, and any condition you deem fit, but within reason. I only ask that one other ship accompany me, the commander of which is the clone of the former samurai missing.

I know of no other assurances I can give but my word as a ship commander, and an honest person. I await your response good leaders of Nepleslia.

Lieutenant Kakutama,

I am the Grand Admiral of the 2nd Assault Fleet, and therefor are currently in charge of the new Southern Nepleslian territories, currently under 2AF jurisdiction. As such, I will be handling your interaction with the DIoN.

As you may have noted, ties between our nations are very terse as of late. I will not lie to you, I am slightly apprehensive about allowing into our borders the warriors of the nation that not long ago appeared ready to be our annihilators. However, after consideration, I have chosen to approve your request for entrance into Southern Nepleslia.

Please proceed to the Fhasho system at your nearest convenience, although sending word of your departure would be preferable. I will be in orbit of the world in my flagship, with my command escort. Please do not be alarmed by them; security has been rather tight as of late.

Marine personnel are already planetside, and will be available to provide aid to your operation, should you require it.
