I have an idea for my character, I would like him to be like a wanderer which is searching for something(an ancient monolith maybe). I would like him to be like an ancient member or an ex-member of an ancient order created by cyborgs and humans in order to find that monolith which holds the true of space.
First I will create my character and after that, If I can, that faction.
Any advice?
 
You've a few options, some of which @LittleWasp expertly outlined.

1. You can do exactly these things in Open RP without seeking permission or submitting anything to the Setting Submissions forum.

2. You can join an existing faction with a fresh character while your three-month faction submission timer runs down. You'd likely join a plot, but you don't have to.

3. You can talk to a faction manager about your idea and see if they'll support their faction "hosting" this idea. Nepleslia and the Freespacers are the big cyborg users in the setting right now, so @Gunhand4171 (for Neps) and @Primitive Polygon (for Freespacers) could help there.

If you choose to submit the faction idea, understand that the bar is high, but not unachievable. Ms. Waspy has good first-hand knowledge about faction submission.

I do, indeed. My first contribution to this site was actually a faction/species of my own, though I did so at first unaware of the three month waiting period. There was a bit of drama, understandably. They've come to be loved by a lot of the people here, though, and (so far) they're the only faction I've made characters for. In a sense, the faction is my character.

As a result, I know a bit about submitting content to the site, so if you need help with that in future, I can help you with writing up articles and the like. Doshii makes some very good suggestions too!
 
Hi.

Yeah, Freespacers are big on religion at times, so that could help. I dunno about the "truth of space", through. I guess it depends on how delusional you want this goal to be.

It should also be noted that you can create a completely independent individual with their own plot, too, but you might have a hard time finding other people to actually RP with.
