Hello, everyone. I'm glad to have found Star Army, as I've been looking for an RPG that operated via the forums and chat method for a good while. I've played tabletop RPGs since 2002 and have always loved games with that immersive quality that lets you have your own RP fun, like Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I look forward to joining the fun, and hope to contribute as much as I can to make it as enjoyable as possible. ^_^
 
Awesome! I'm glad you joined. I'm Wes, the site's founder guy and I'm hoping you like what you see and stick around. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. If you look on our wiki, there's a New Players Guide that lays out some of the basics of the RP and character creation. Having a GM-approved character gets you in a subforum RP (there's 16 right now I think) but you can also jump in any open RP thread and you can also create those. I recommend subscribing with email notifications to anything you start posting in. You can also build on to the Star Army universe by submitting stuff for the wiki like planets, aliens, and setting locations (note new species have a requirement that you stick around for a couple months first). What faction(s) interest you the most so far?
 
I was putting together the character profile for a gentlemen of Nepleslian origins, son of a merchant / financier family who wanted to make a military career despite his parents hoping he'd not do something so risky, heh.

I've put up a preliminary of my character's profile on the wiki. He's a young soldier named Liam Gervasius.
