RP: 5th XF [Heion] Day 3- Waiting feels like forever

Sometime later on the evening of Day 3 on the Heion....

Ayana felt incredibly anxious. She hadn’t seen the Crown Prince in a while and she was confused about… why. She felt the urge to pace in her quarters on the Heion, Pisces couldn’t hold her attention and her fellow senators had returned to Yamatai. She was essentially alone at the station and even now on the ship. Her attempts at conversation with the large Vanderhuge man had been rather fruitless and aggravating in her eyes but they had both made the attempt.

Perhaps if I had been something else he would’ve been warmer towards me but I doubt it, she mused as she let herself fall back onto the mattress and large fluffy, down blankets of her bed. She sighed as she stared idly up at the ceiling through the sheer canopy of the overly lavish bed. This is like sleeping in a cloud… this is really too much for me. I kinda miss home and my own bed… this is nice but I’m all alone out here. There are more important things going on and I’m stuck here instead of being where I need to be. But I promised that I’d wait for him…

She lightly touched her lips as she remembered the warmth and the pressure of the Crown Prince’s lips against hers in that first passionate embrace. “What am I to him?” She wondered out loud. She frowned as she closed her eyes again. This is silly, I’m not a little girl and a couple of kisses doesn’t mean I am anything…. There is not a ‘we’ just…. Is there? We just met not too long ago... how can there be something? I’ve never even talked to him about anything else… it’s all just… he’s so charming and I want to be taken seriously. I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am today! Just being here threatens my credibility… standing beside him overshadows the fact that I was here first.

She sighed again and turned on her side, pulling a pillow against her stomach in a light hug. If it bothers me so much, I should send him my apologies and go home… but for some reason I can’t…

The Prince returned to the Heion, immediately upon exiting the airlock and into the corridor he opened communications with the bridge. "Set immediate course for Jiyuu. The Conference is over, we are going home."

Hm...Wonder where Ayana is? He got into the lift and it brought him to the dormatory complex, to the floor where the Senator's quarters were, he headed down the hall, towards her door, pausing outside of it.

Should I go in? She pushed me away before? He sighed, in conflict with himself. A second later he rang the chime, and waited.

The senator's ears perked at the sound of the chime of her doorbell. She yawned softly as she disentangled herself from her blankets. She smoothed her hair back and walked over to the door, not bothering to redress herself.

She stood beside the door as she raised the lights slightly so that there was some visibility. I wonder who it could be... but I have a fairly good idea. She looked down at herself critically, wondering if she had the time to change. Perhaps, I should change... but I don't want to make the person wait unnecessarily if it's just a short message they want to deliver.

With a sleepy smile she opened the door and blinked at the face she found looking back at her. There was an obvious air of sleepiness in Ayana's eyes and her overall appearance in the dim backlit doorway. Her body was lightly clothed in a mid-thigh length lilac colored slip gown that’s thin straps rested slightly askew off the Nekovalkyrja’s left shoulder. Her lilac colored hair spilled messily onto her shoulders.

“Good evening, Tio,” Ayana said softly with a light blush on her cheeks. “The meeting with Mr. Davis went well?” She leaned against the doorway and considered her options for the moment. “Please, come in and join me for a drink?” She moved back away from the door as she gestured into the room.
