Just two questions I'd like clarified in the article, and I'll probably approve this.
1) How do the differences in gravitation affect the impact of particles. Are spatial debris slowed to harmless levels crossing the shield's operational threshold (the edge of its area effect) or is there something else at work?
2) Does this work like almost every other gravitational shield in the setting, slowing down and stopping solid rounds/dispersing lasers via gravitic lensing to reduce damage?

Actually the HSC Gravity Shield is not used to protect against missiles and lasers. In fact it has no affect on them.
Its primary purpose is to protect against the turbulence of wormholes.
Spatial debris, such as dust and small objects are actually deflected , the page has been updated.
