[Hidden Sun Clan] - Gravity Generators

This is a fundamental concept for the Hidden Sun Clan technology. It is based on an actual proposed theory that purports to be able to generate gravity. Yes.

I thought the setting as a whole was trying to make a departure away from graviton/gravimetric-family technology. Wouldn't approving of this go against the grain in such an instance?

So your are saying that every ship, base, and vehicle is going to remove artificial gravity and anti-gravity and interial compensation.

This submission is intended to provide that same kind of functionality, but with a basis in actual scientific theory.

No, I'm saying that Wes was concerned about gravimetric technology being so widespread when it was in fact rather vague and, from some sources, not that feasible for propulsion. In effect, I'm just making a reminder of something Wes said - not me. I happen to like gravimetric tech.

Wes himself advocated going in another direction for design because of that. I've nothing against the submission, Nashoba - I'm just trying to make Wes come clear on what he wants and doesn't want for his setting in regard of gravimetric technology. If he's cool with it and that it fits his mental picture of what SARP should be... then I'll be happy enough.
