That's remarkably disgusting -- and by disgusting, I mean innovative.
With the way genetic engineering goes in the SARP, I'm sure this would work.
You need to go into depth for what these can actually be used for:
Theoretically, they should be able to seal a punctured artery, eat decomposing flesh to prevent gangrene and even sanitize a wound.
