OOC ISC Phoenix OOC chatter

I'm horribly, horribly confused.

Did we just do a timeskip to to weeks later? Where are we now? I don't know where Smith is this far down the line, and it looks like some others didn't realize a timeskip happened!

Not the first post! The latest post! At the end of it!

EDIT: So it was about to timeskip again but was cut off by a phonecall...ok.

Ladies and gentlemen: I am bowing out.

It was fun. I legitimately enjoyed the writing. However, I have not been giving you guys as much as you deserve; there are several times in the life of this plot, and now is one of those times, where I should have been kicked out for inactivity not once, but twice or three times over. I have been stalling, delaying, and ultimately fobbing everyone off.

This is unfair to the players who are consistent posters, and although you all know me as a mercurial writer, I go cold more often on this plot than I go warm. Ridiculously unfair.

In character, Naoko has disappeared. (This is actually not all that uncommon).

If you want to keep the Mishhu, I give its portrayal to Smith. If you don't want to keep the Mishhu, she's taken it with her and it will very shortly also disappear.

God bless; good luck.

Well, you're going to be sorely missed Gallant, and this is going to make Smith rather lonely, but I'm sure Righty will keep him company and in good spirits while Naoko is away.

I made a minor edit into my last post, mentioning Naoko leaving. That way, we can continue on with the discussion about the Mishhu.

Oi.

Five days, no posting? Seriously? What's wrong?

C'mon guys, I said I wanted to end with a bang, not with a whimper.

Just to clear the air;

I am very confused about what to do with this damn Mishhu, so I'm going to point out the facts as I understand:

I was under the impression that since Naoko, a key member of Smith and Enzo's deal to sell the Mishhu was missing, that the deal would go through and we'd just take it out of our hands and leave it there.

However, apparently you guys had planned to fail to sell the Mishhu unsuccessfully, and keep it as a pet for the time being - but the way you were playing it out I thought you were actually all serious about selling it, so I provided a buyer to speed things along.

Naturally, you guys are perfectly welcome to refuse selling it to Yuki in order to keep the fun going and prevent a retcon, who knows what she'd do with/to it?

<Sebastian> "She cut a tank in half."
<Luca> "She cut a Ripper in half."
(both exchange incredulous stares)

EDIT: Stuff it. Rolling back and deleting my post. I rushed and posted twice in the same day because I have exams in a couple weeks time, and I haven't been getting gratified recently so I'm very irritable, plus I have three separate assignments to hand in this week.

Yeah...I had originally planned to more or less keep the baby mishhu aboard until Gallant's return - until then, I hoped that it would prove to be in the background but entertaining bit. Much like Ein from Cowboy Bebop. But with more tentacles!

I didn't expect to make anybody panic or anything.

We have PM's! The Internets! Tell me if something's confusing or wrong, please!

Hah that would actually be hilarious and I though it would be something like that too at first. But selling is a big no-no for many chars on the ship I think. Well anyway I posted again and let's hope this will help you out a little Cadet.

I'm actually getting kind of annoyed that the Mishhu is the focus of this mission. This is supposed to be part of the season finale, we're not supposed to be fighting over a freaking mishhu for a majority of the time. Ever since page one or two we've been bitching about the goddamn mishhu and not focussing on the mission.

I've decided to get rid of it. No ifs, no buts, its literally become a black hole. It all should've been handled in an aside. I kept on putting off posting because I had to post around the freaking mishhu to keep the plot moving, and now I have no damn choice!

"If you want something handled. Do it yourself."

For the record I support Luca's decision.

I had not intended, by writing in a small mishhu, to create this much of a stir or a fuss, and the fact that it has resulted in such a stir or a fuss is embarassing to me personally and I feel exceptionally ashamed about it.

Please forgive me.

I also support Luca's decision.

Payday was never intended to take the spotlight, and was meant to merely be comedic relief in the background. I had wholly intended, for comedic purposes, for Smith to use his wits in comparison to Naoko's brute force method of containing the creature - he would have turned Payday into a Porn and SimDate obsessed NEET that would have spent its days watching and playing said things while perhaps chatting up schoolgils from Yamatai using his new-found social skills. For the lulz.

But despite the GM's repeated attempts at reigning this in, the spotlight remained in the Mishhu when we should have been moving forward with the story. Because certain player(s) wouldn't let it go despite repeated attempts by the GM to get the plot moving again. What's more, the GM's hand was forced since I was away at class. My first day of class in an entire semester, and I come back to find this.

And yes. I'm naming you Blackbird. Congratulations - you've angered me to the point that I ABSOLUTELY MUST break good policy and bring this out into the open rather than keeping it in private channels between Luca, You and Myself. Because if I don't, I'll take it out on someone else. In fact, my little brother did NOT deserve that! I apologized to him, but this has only further enraged me at you Blackbird. You're a veteran role-player, and I expected better from you - I thought you'd realize we had to move on, that we had a Plot's story to stick to, but NO! You just had to have your character, Uriel Hisshana, keep going on about that Baby Mishhu! One that I had intended to JP with someone over! But now I can't. It's dead!

Cads, everyone was at fault. It was a vicious cycle. If we'd kept the Mishhu we would've continued arguing about it for twenty more pages and gotten nowhere in a hurry.

Now let's try our best to keep the damn plot moving, whether you all like it or not.

Being in the public eye doesn't bother me in the slightest. I played the character as he was intended and had brought his interest in the matter to a close. That Luca chose to take the next step and kill off the Misshu was beyond me. That you're so angered over a change in the roleplay is seriously worrisome- even more frightening, you're taking it out on other people. You may want to consider counseling.

He took that next step to try and keep Uriel in the plot. I apologize to everyone else about this fiasco, but I won't do so to you Blackbird - not until I'm able to say it with honesty and really mean it. If you're really leaving the plot, then next time, don't mess someone else up in the process, which is exactly what you did - you forced Luca's hand into making a desperate bid to keep you here and absolutely, utterly destroyed my plans in the process.

As for my brother - we're always talking to each other, but this time, I told him to bug off, which I haven't done before - I've always, at the very least, tried to listen even if I wasn't in a good mood. You've well and truly upset me.

In regards to the Phoenix however, I'll be well able to have Smith stay in character - I will not let OOC bleed into IC. I owe everyone else that much.
