OOC ISC Phoenix OOC chatter

My understanding was the misshu was a passing thing. If you had informed me you had plans for the bugger, not only could I have removed Uriel from the situation sooner, but I could have worked out a solution that wasn't shooting the misshu (which I almost did) or storming off with quite such a fuss.

Let me step in. First this is quite enough, if you guys want to argue take it to PMs, since it is pointless by this time.

Second you are both right, by only partly. I think it was pretty much clear Cadet had some plans with that thing, and to find out all you need was to ask. And Blackbird just played his character which is of course fine. It would be strange for Uriel to back down really. Bad thing is that Luca had to step it which was pretty uncomfortable for him I bet.

But last thing I want to say is this. Let's drop it. There misunderstandment and it caused little trouble. I am sorry you lost your plans for RP Cadet, but there is one of great things that makes Luca awesome GM. He is open to ideas. PM him, talk to him and you can resolve this and make Phoenix fun for you again. I would hate for you to be bitter over this.

I should have said this earlier, but I'll likely be out of commission until Monday; I'm at Fanime con, but will still try and make a post if I have spare time and am not exhausted due to the lack of sleep.

Well.

Now let's see here.

There's something interesting. Can you figure it out? If so. Don't post it here; I'd rather you guys all discover the surprise for yourselves.

Remember when I wasn't lethargic/lazy/forgetful and still posted to this? Me neither!

Consider Seiren off doing charity work or something for Yamatai, because his parents used to live there.

Heads up: Because Australian infrastucture can be outdone by a tin can and stringophone, I can't get the post I've written for you guys. It'll be anywhere from one hour to one freaking week until its back.

I'm posting this from a phone, and seriously, stuff Telstra. They're depriving a few vilkages of idiots.

Not sure what the hell to do with Ernie. He's probably quietly sitting next to the door to medbay pondering the meaning of life or something while trying to avoid awake, possibly gib mongering, Luca.

Because you asked so nicely. Click to enlarge/de-fuzzy:

Sorry for the long delay - I hope everything's alright in that post. It was made in a hurry. Just assume Smith went south or southeast for the time being.

Sincere apologies for the lack of postage. Gathering players is about as easy as herding cats. Gallant seems to have gone offworld, and I need him for the next part.

Oh well. Will post without him tomorrow, that is a promise.

I really want to write a post. Like, you have no idea how many times I've sat staring at the 'Post a reply' tab in my browser. I don't want to duck out of the plot, but I am really suffering for posts right now.

Glad it's not just me. I'm doing it right now, actually.

Lam, BB, do us both a favour and admit that you're ducking out, because that's how it seems to me.

This is supposed to be the climax and yet two people of the handful who stuck around out of the truckload who have come and ungratefully gone without a word; I bought along because I trusted that they'd stay with me. Now it seems they have been unable to.

Guess time makes a fool of me in the end. I want to build a time machine. I'm not posting until one of you does. After five years of people coming, staying for a while then leaving without so much as a 'Thanks, it was fun' I'm getting sick of having to rely on others to get this story told.

I am not a happy man at the moment.

Don't label me with intentions. Phoenix was my first plot and I've always wanted to write meaningful posts. Especially now. As you've said yourself; this is the big climax, the penultimate moment of the story telling process. While I can't sit silently for it-- I refuse equally to allow myself to put dribble on your story.

I know you must be frustrated, and I can imagine your annoyance, but I feel a bit of stinging resentment when you assume that I'm just trying to leave quietly. I do not want out, nor have I ever. I've enjoyed every minute of this plot and I would hope that everyone has enjoyed what I've brought to it. My words were to let you know that, and to assure you that I'm not just dragging my heels about leaving. I wasn't making an excuse to get out it-- I was letting you know that I'm still here and I intend to finish what I started.

Lam.

Sorry.

BB.

Sorry also.

I'm just going through lots of things at university and in life at the moment, and it feels equally confusing and overwhelming.
