Degonjo Saeruo Poku'vonai
More than 800 Mai ago, Kotoz Mui lead our ancestors during the Norka. It is through his wisdom and foresight that we as a people still exist. That our light has not gone out of the universe. But once their journey was over, Kotoz Mui made a promise to those with him then, and to future generations. That one day the Qaktoro, Tula, Qakla and Tuoro would stand together on new worlds. That the Poku'vonai would claim them as their own, and would raise up new cities and raise their baqli in the sun of those new worlds.
That promise did not come to pass during the life time of Kotoz Mui. Over the centuries we have remembered that promise. We have kept it in our collective spirit as we grew and prospered in out World Station. But we never forgot.
At the start of this Mai, we found new allies, friends in the dark places. We then laid claim to worlds that lie on the other side of Siama Rya.
At my command six months ago, we started sending ships to one of those worlds. One that was the heart of the Siama'bu Soujo, our allies had driven them out. Those vessels filled with volunteers, have for those long six months been hard at work.
I can tell you that starting today, we fulfill the promise made to our people all those mai ago.
The planet where those people have labored is called Âmuar.
The location they have been laboring at on Âmuar has been called Tioasme.
At my command the Wunyaka Vonai Âmuar , which has waited for so many years began powering up and loading personnel. In four Tui, this great ship that last saw Otâgolisoy, will leave the berth where we have cared for it. It will travel once more though the void of space, to the world Âmuar. Over 1oo thousand Poku'vonai are aboard that ship, and they will be the first of our people to set foot on a world, and call it home.
May Siamaka watch over them. And once they set foot upon Âmuar, they can truly say that Kotoz Mui's promise is fulfilled.
