How'd you find Star Army? RPG Directory

What interested you in joining? I've been hankering to do a Sci-Fi roleplay since playing Elite Dangerous, never really found one that jumped out until now

Ever done this text-based roleplaying thing before? For about 2 years, give or take a year. Still pretty new but I read my brains out, tried writing a few novels over the years and took Advanced English all through high school so I do have writing experience.

Any previous experiences you want to share? None that I can think of, no.

Do you prefer:
  • Playing male, female, or other-gendered characters? Male
  • Spontaneous or planned RP? A little bit of both, they're both great
  • Military or civilian characters? Either, I tend to lean to civilian as I don't have any military experience to draw on.
  • Humans, androids, anthros, or aliens? Aliens!
  • Being on a starship or being on a planet? Either one
  • Roleplay via forum posts or in real-time? Posts? I've never done real-time.
On a scale of 1 to 3, what's your preferred level of these in your RP:

What's something cool you'd love to RP?
Hmm, something maybe having to do with espionage either active or passive and either corporate or political. I think it'd be interesting and a little edge-of-my-seat sometimes.
 
Well, now that I know what you want to do, there's Scythe if you want more espionage/police stuff, depending if you are 18+. And shamelessly plugging my own stuff again, Interregnum is a Nepleslian commando plot. Amethliana will fill you in on the Iroma, I'm sure. Have fun on SARP! :)
 
Thanks for all the help and tips and shameless plugging Acewing :) I'm excited to get started, I am 18+ so I'll need to get onto that board sometime, I'll be sure to check it all out ;)
 
I'm looking for players for the Ryujo plot, which is a typical Star Army one, except that the crew includes an unusually wide variety of races. So, it could be an option for you. The current mission is to track down some unknown enemies who captured a shuttle that was meant to resupply the ship, so there's some mysteries to be solved as much as anything else.
 
If you like aliens, come to the Dig-It. We got aliens. We got all the aliens. And we have drills. And mecha. Mecha with drills. And we have chicken nuggets. A life time supply of chicken nuggets.
