Albert frowned briefly at the disappearance of Areig and hurriedly stepped towards the green marker, his gaze still wandering to the new arrival on occasion. As he came up to it, the professor found himself hesitant to touch the marker, despite his imminent surroundings.

Nonetheless, his hand shot out for it, as if on instinct. Science could not be questioned.

Danny watched Arieg fall into inky blackness, and he blinked in disbelief. He didn't even know who he was, and he fell into something underneath the world - just as though geometry of a game world had gone missing and he'd fallen into it and disappeared into nothingness. This didn't exactly send Danny at ease.

Danny found himself clinging to Jordan for want of comfort, based on the mewling noises coming from somewhere in his throat. His heart rate had moved to a 'Shaken' state as he watched the world fall away around him and wondered if the very ground under his feet would betray him. He treasured the ground stable around the glowing green marker - well, as long as it remained faithful to gravity.

((I'm thinking that there are Five levels of high heartrate: Shaken, Frightened, Terrified, Panicked, Scared Beyond Capacity for Rational Thought. The higher it goes, well, the more freaked out the character is and disrupted the dream is.))

Jordan was almost at the marker when she heard distant rumble. She turned back and saw land crumble under the armed man. He felt into black nothingness without even a sound. Not even audible plop could be heard. Just nothing, he felt and disappear. That was scary.

Before she could react though, Danny happened. Suddenly she had young man clinging to her arm. Normally that would be okay, but not in this situation. In this bad situation.

"Let's get a move on mate!" She sad, patting Danny on his hand. She reached out and touched the marker.

Venicus, had just been kneeling on one knee while the events transpired. He barely glanced at the other man as he fell to his doom, figured it wasn't worth the thought.

"Should've moved faster," he mumbled to himself before reaching has hand up to touch the green marker.

'Shapeshifter' turned its head toward Daniel, then the professor, before sliding across the floor toward the marker. The legs were moving as if walking, but the pace was not matching the distance they covered, like a freaky version of a moonwalk.

When the floor began to leave, dropping Arieg into waking, the construct of Tweak's mind did something...odd. For the moment that everyone's attention was on the falling man, 'Shapeshifter' stopped being one place and, when someone finally noticed where it was, it was at the location marker, reaching out to touch it as it saw the others doing so.

Who cares if it was on the wrong side of the floor when the panels fell apart.

As it reached for the marker, the shifting began slowing. Instead of being constantly changing, it only changed when no one was looking. Fortunately, it never seemed to directly copy anyone's appearance, but instead blended them in strange and interesting ways. Like Jordan with Arieg's hairstyle that was half the professor's color and half Danny's, with the coloration applied diagonally down the middle.

As the users each reached the marker, the disintergration of the floor began to slow down. Coming to a halt and leaving the users on a small 3 metre wide, jagged edged, circular island in a vast inky sea.

"I am sorry for the loss of your companion. However the armed man had to attend the world of those who are awake it seems. Let us keep focussed however, lose this focus and the results are notably drastic."

"Congratulations, though. You who remain, have completed the first task of your training... initializing training ground number 2"

The gentle, white glow that the floor had been emmiting pulsed once, then bits of the floor began returning in cube like fragments. The floor refilled itself until the island was a square of about 3 metres in width and length.

Then, with a thud, four glowing white walls shunted up out of the inky nothingness edging the island immediatly, creating a 10 metre deep pit with the users in it's bottom. At the same time, the marker blinked out of existance, only to pop back just above the pit.

Over the pit, a white ceiling was still visible. A new floor had resurfaced around the top edge of the hole as well.

"Your objective stays the same, reach the green location marker.
Good luck, Lucid Walkers"

A soft chime seemed to echo shortly through the air as ELENA finished speaking.

Danny was given a gentle push by the walls as they appeared and put him and his companions in the pit. With four other people and only about three metres in either direction of room, it was going to be uncomfortable,. Danny was unable to get a running start on a climb or wall-jump, which would've been preferable.

Then again, these tasks were not meant to mirror day to day life, mostly.
"Hmm," Danny hmmed, looking at the four walls and the green marker out of his reach and constrained by gravity, "I think we have to climb out."

Danny jumped up and tried to get a grip on the wall, but the smoothness and sterility of the wall gave him no vertical movement. He then wondered about something:

This place is made of little cubes. He started, scratching his chin and remembering how , Little cubes have sides, edges, something to grab onto. He started to feel the wall and started drawing with his finger against it, trying to find the edges, Therefore, even this wall must be made of cubes, somehow...

He kept on trying to see if this course of logic was on the right track, prodding and poking the wall, trying to get some lease without explaining to the others. His heart rate slowed down as he went into concentration.

"Well, I've never been one for much of climbing," Professor Weiss commented, his eyes wandering over Danny's attempt to ascend. "Except to get lab samples, of course."

The professor took a cursory glance towards the new location marker and back over to the wall nearest him. For a very brief moment, he almost said, 'Let's just take the stairs', and for that moment he could've sworn he'd seen a metal door behind him with a glowing red 'EXIT' above it. Upon second-glance, it wasn't there anymore.

"Hmph. Dreams."

The professor tried once again to convince himself he could just take the stairs, this time concentrating hard on a panel of wall just beyond Jordan.

Venicus shook his head at the other two. It was just like a video game, there was always a simple solution, especially when "magic" was involved. He took another look at the marker above him and began thinking of a game he had played with portals. However, that idea is foolish since I don't have a white gun nor a potato to instruct me. However, the prospect of portals makes me wonder if the drop is safe, or if there was someway to propel myself up there. Or allow me to walk on the ceiling, like that movie where the kid ended up on "The Grid" in a video game world and fought the guy where they would switch gravity and......

Venicus closed his eyes and willed the world around him to warp so that gravity shifted, so that up was down and down was up.

With everyone's attention diverting to the problem at hand, the moment the last person's eyes left Tweak's dream image, the image vanished from among them and reappeared at the top of the ledge. Remaining in David's shape, it stood still as Tweak's mental "eye" looked down at the group. It needed to stay with the group, didn't it? It would be advantageous to aid them.

Despite having an image, it could still move freely. In fact, it wasn't even truely "moving" as defined by three-dimensional space. It just was where it wanted to be. The image, designed to mark where Tweak's current point-of-view was, moved with that PoV. However, that image seemed to be bound by the point-of-view of all others in the dreamspace...forced to conform to their ideas of what was possible. This was a disturbing feeling for Tweak, the feeling of being locked down, confined, frozen in place and bound. However, all that needed done was to dissolve the image. After all, it was just an image, not the mind itself.

Jordan looked up at the marker and smirked. The walls around were completely blank and without anything to hold on. "So... human ladder?" She joked out loud looking at others. Others her mind was able to comprehend at least. THat thing that mimicked and mixed looks of other was something Jordan just planned to ignore.

Jordan decided she could try something of herself. She remembered how she actually changed something by her will, namely her clothing. Maybe she could change more. She touched the wall, trying to feel it and see how solid it was. What would happen if she tried to push against it. Make a hold and something to hold onto. She started concentrating and tried it.

As each of the users set to finding a way up ELENA stayed quiet and simply observed them.

The surface Danny felt over seemed to be one flat surface, non of the assumable seems that may've formed by the cubelike building blocks the world was made of, were actually there.

To Albert there was a lingering memory of there actually being an exit, where it had gone however, was a mystery. Perhaps the others would remember too.

However when Jordan joined Danny's search for a surface they seemed to feel a slight gap as they ran their hands over the wall. A gap about a finger wide running between eachother's hands. The white, illuminated surface, made it very hard to see and it was nearly instantly 'gone' and hidden when they moved eachother's hands about to different heights.

To all a sudden slight upward rush could be felt, as if an elevator had been set so in motion downwards so very slowly.
The sensation only lasted for the slightest moment.
However it was followed by, first for the Shapeshifter, Tweak, a strong sensation of discomfort, chills and distortions in it's being and appearance, a jitter in the consistancy of it's position in time and place.
The rest could feel a similar cold chill and jittery sensations running over their skin.

"Be aware Lucid Walkers, work together or you may each disrupt your own reality too much."

Jordan's eyebrows neared each other as she was deep in thought. She felt the gap, she knew she did, but only when Danny's hand was right next to hers. The Redhead got and idea. She moved closer and grabbed Danny's hand, putting her own palm over his and wrapping her fingers into his.

"Let my try something!" She said and started sliding both of their interlocked hand on the wall looking for the gap again.

"Well, I suppose if we do have to work together, climbing may be the way to go, undignified as it may be." Professor Weiss closed the gap between himself and the wall and started pushing his fingers along the same line as Jordan and Daniel.

"Perhaps climbing may not be such an issue for these old bones as they sleep and dream, eh?" He asked, to no one in particular as he felt for the scaling portion of the surface.

While what was described may have been felt by a normal dreamer, the shapeshifting apparition experienced none of it as the image was not the dreamer, and only tangentially connected, like a puppet to a puppeteer, without the immersion being experienced by the other dreamers.

However, the dream couldn't handle any more of this incredibly unconventional creature's manipulations and, to save itself and the other dreamers from the disruption being caused by the anomaly, Tweak's mind was forcibly ejected from the dream. The neko didn't wake, her disconnected mind taking the abrupt switch in location as a dream of her own took over for ELENA; instead she continued her sleep as if nothing had happened.

Danny was still searching along the walls when the upwards sensation hit him. He was unprepared for the jolt and spent a moment to regain his balance before putting his hands back on the wall and resuming to search for a crease. As his and Jordan's hands got closer, he could feel something, but it kept shifting and moving. The sensation unbeknownst to him, he continued looking furtively.

Then Jordan's hand crossed over his and grasped his wandering hand, causing him to jump and squeak in surprise before looking at Jordan with a blush. Blinking and looking back at the wall while grinning sheepishly, he continued to look for the gap, "Uh, uhm, okay." He replied shakily while trying to find the right spot.
