Planet: Âmuar
Location: Landing site at base of mountain

The sunlight shown on the hull of the Yome Ismâopate, it glistened in the light as the dew that had collected on the hull caught and refracted the light.

Behing the fighting ship, a number of Stako Yanuto were being offloaded. They were gathered into two groups. The first consisted of Matu'dahoka (Battle Bear) and the second group was Goa'ismâ (Scout).

On the bridge Qaedal activated the intercom on his console and selected shipwide channel.
"Yome Ismâopate Ovuhu-te. All Sâvyjo report to the hold on deck five for training." he called out in a clear voice.

Wapoin Ruo'sa

La'tâ had been trying to relax a little while in the medical bay for the upcoming training, but she did not want to leave her post until the training started so she remained diligent. Upon hearing the ship wide communication she gave a slight bow to Jaqsi and then stepped out, making her way to deck 5.

Deck 5 Hold

While she did not rush the young Tula would arrive at the hold rather quickly after the announcement, she did not want to be one of the last ones there, she had learned the value of punctuality long before becoming even becoming a tender.

Outside the ship a few of the crew were completing the preparation of the Stako Yanuto. Each of the units were sitting with their cockpits open waiting for the operator to climb into them. Toidorno the Tin-To'a had been supervising the activities. He turned and looked at the area around the ship. It had been a while since he had set foot on a world. That this one was officially claimed by the clan made it different. He wondered what the future held for the clan on this world.

Cabin 11

Working hard, he had gotten most of the data backed up and ready for him to edit it. If it wasn't for the fact that he had to go and play solder in some Stako. Memi wasn't excited at the prospect. With a grunt and and growl, he stood up from his table and put away what he was working. Grabbing a change of clothes before he left, it changed mainly so that he could waist a bit more time.

Deck 5 Hold

He joined the rest of the group in the hold. Standing a bit stiff he panned his recorder around taking in the Stakos that were waiting for the crew.

Hold

Keyul walked into the hold with a sense of adventure. Soon he would be setting foot on another world. A world that belonged to his people. He spotted the other Sâvyjo one of whom he saw in the temple. He walked up to them and stood beside Memi whom he had met earlier. Keyul looked out at the Stako and the ground beyond.

"Beautiful machines, I can not wait to get in one and see what it can do. So Memi-sar which are you hoping for a Light or Heavy Stako? Me personally I want to try out the heavy." he said to the Qaktoro.

He then turned, "Forgive my lack of manners," he said to La'tâ. "I am Sâvyjo Keyul Aaeas, Detis Goa'a for the Yome Ismâopate. What might your name be?" he inquired after introducing himself.

Deck 5 Hold

La'tâ looked around at the Stakos not too sure about herself right now. But while she was contemplating her situation others had started to come in and look around as well. She did not notice any of them at first though, but when someone spoke to her she snapped out of her daze and turned to look at him. "Oh um..I am Sâvyjo La'tâ Qoji, I am working as a Wapoin'a. It is nice to meet you Keyul-sar." She gave a soft bow to the Qakla that stood a whole foot higher than her.

Hold

Keyul returned La'tâ's bow with one of his own. "Well, this planet looks rather nice. Have either of you been off world before? This is my first time. Seems a bit strange to be standing here in the hold and looking out at the surface of a new world. Of course, before we get to set foot on it, we get to go through the atmospheric shield with the sterilizing gas. A small price to pay though."

Hold

La'tâ shook her head at Keyul's question. "I have not..and until recently I did not picture myself ever doing so. This is going to be a good experience for us." While she wasn't sure of that, she did not want to seem negative. "This planet was bombed before, but what remained is coming back strong. That is what I was told at least." She debated whether or not she should speak about the Mishuu possibly being down there, she didn't know what that would do, but she didn't want to lower their awareness either.

Hold

"Our allies focused much of their wrath on the Defilers of the Dead and their installations.. So there are places that were untouched. So far other than wreckage and bodies there have not been any sign of the scurge. If we do it will be up to us to deal with it. After all there a lot of colonists on this world " Keyul said

Hold

"I've never been away from my home... ever. Though I never considered my first time away home, to be brought to a place that the Defilers could get me..." Memi looked a bit worried, " I could get the footage I need off of the Stako's sensor feeds... And well then I could stay here and observe the feeds." He didn't seem like he was a coward, more that he seemed worried to get under foot or be a drag on the whole operation.

Hold

She looked between the two males in front of her and nodded "I suppose even if there are defilers here, it's best to get some team exercises in early rather than late." She had similar feelings to Memi, but she knew that in order to help the soldiers, she had to go where they went.

Hold

Keyul listened to the Sâvyjo standing with him. "But if you only use recordings from a distance, you will miss some of the details that the cameras will not pickup. Your personal feelings and emotions. Besides, it is not like they are going to send us Sâvyjo out alone. We will have some more experienced folks leading us."

At that point Toidorno walked back into the hold. "Okay Sâvyjo, time for you to get into your Stako. La'tâ and Memi, the two of you are in the Goa'ismâ. Keyul you are in one of Matu'dahoka with the rest of us. Climb in, strap yourself in and get them powered up. We're moving out shortly." The light brown Qaktoro said and then walked back out and over to one of the larger frames.

Hold

La'tâ nodded at Keyul's remark "Yes if you are taking recordings it is best to be a part of it There are many things that can not be conveyed just by watching, for better or worse." The brown furred Tula made her way to one of the scout mechs after Toidorno called them. She climbed in and first secured her medical kit to make sure it wouldn't move about. Then she secured herself and got to work, she was not a combatant, nor was she really scouting, so she had to rearrange her displays, making sure that she could get easy readouts of her sensors and tell where the rest of the pack would be at all times.

Hold

With a almost muted growl/groan, Mime turned and looked at La'ta. "Guess so..."

He walked over and around the scout mech a few times before climbing into it. Sure he had read all the manuals h could get his paws on once he found out he was going to be joining a ship. so the cockpit and the controls weren't that foreign to him. He started flicking switches and hitting buttons to power it up, slowly but surely he worked through the sequence, and only had to restart twice.

Once it was powered up Memi activated the sensors and all the "gun" recorders, there were only a few angles that wouldn't be recorded.

Hold

La'tâ noticed that Mime had a little trouble getting his system on line but once he did get everything working she sent him a message. "I can't say much for my piloting, but should anything happen I will be sure to fix you up good as new." She gave him a nod through the channel, part of it was to hopefully settle Mime's nerves, but the other half was for herself, she had to remind herself, she was not there for any great feats of combat her job was to make sure everyone got back, preferable in good condition.

She did a quick inventory of the mech using the computers systems, making sure she had everything she needed and also she was curious if they were supposed to launch with any weapons or not.

jumping at the message, Memi forgot about the mech to mech communications. "Ahh thank you... you really think there might be issues?" He was quite tense and truly felt out of his scope for the first time boarding the ship. It had been just a fun adventure, but now he was realizing it was all real. people might get hurt, and he didn't what it to happen because of him.

"Hmm?" She looked back to her channel with Mime at her side. "There should not be any real problems. I don't think they'd send us out if things were too hostile. So you have nothing to fear, just stay alert and things should go without incident. You will probably be in a safe spot in formation since you're not a combatant too." She noticed on her sensors that some of them were not properly adjusted for a planetary mission so she began adjusting them. She was not the greatest technician, but she was a member of Otámovi Wiy Jael after all so she knew the basics.

Keyul walked out of the ship holding his breath as he passed through the sterilization shield. Once through it took a deep breath of the air and savored the aroma. He approached his Matu'dahoka. He grabbed the hand holds and climbed into the cockpit. He turned around and settled into the seat. He adjusted the restraints to hold him secure. Then spun the chair around so that he was facing forward. He initiated the power up sequence as the panels closed sealing him in. Once the primary power was online. He activated his comm, "Memi, La'tâ, comm check. How are your receiving." he sent over their group.

While waiting he had his stako stand up and performed a few physical tests. He moved his arms for their full range, and then twisted from side to side. He then walked around in a small circle.

La'tâ had her stako stand now and began testing it much like Keyul was testing his own. "Comms are working properly on my end." She now had all her systems organized and online, she was nearly ready to go. "Are we taking any weapons with us on this training?" She sent a message to Keyul to see if he knew anything.

Keyul listened to La'tâ, and walked over to a rack that was fileld with HS-EW1-1a Rotygo Acco Stako. He took one out and gave it an experimental heft. The weapon was easily longer than any member of the clan was tall. He grabbed a magazine and put it into the weapon and chambered a round. He then grabbed two others and attached them to the side of his frame.

"You have a choice Sar-La'tâ. Your Stako Yanuto has built in weapons, but you can decide to take one of the HS-EW1 rifles to augment. I plan on taking one because if we do get into combat, extra firepower is never a bad thing. But I would not take took long making up your mind, the Tin-Toa appears eager to be off." he replied.

At that moment Toidorno the XO was gathering the other members of the Recon team to form up with him. He then opened a channel the the Sâvyjo, "When ever you Sâvyjo care to join us...." his tone implying that he was did not want to wait.
