Sune smirked listening to Sienna berate Misato. He would have probably said something similar but felt that she did just fine.

"Suzume-Hei, no single crew member is indispensable. Every member of the crew is a soldier first and can fight. The Shosho has already given orders for us to get underway with our final destination being Hanako's World. So your concerns for her safety and that of the ship for now are unfounded." Sune said.

Hanako's world, the first place I saw Hanako. Where I joined the Eucharis. I wonder if we will be back in time for Year's End. That would be nice to spend it there under peaceful circumstances. he thought.

He looked at his ICP and noticed that he had a message. He looked at the address, it came from the SSS. He read the message and cleared the screen. He would need to think about it before sending a reply.

Sienna's eyebrows raised up as Misato angrily fired back at her, and she didn't try very hard to hide her amusement at how she'd evidently touched a nerve. Her dedication to her job was admirable, Sienna had to admit, but she found the soldier's hero complex borderline hilarious. She hadn't intentionally tried to offend the Neko, but by the looks of it, Misato's skin was even thinner than she'd already judged.

There were a number of things to point out to Misato that flashed across her mind once she finished her tirade, such as how they'd managed just fine in the wardroom without the infantry, or how the Neko's ability to save the helpless huddled masses aboard the ship would be severely hampered if she didn't give her injuries the time they needed to heal for no reason other than her stubborn pride. Her initial impressions of this crew were only being reinforced the longer she stayed here.

Sune interjected before she had a chance to reply, however, not that she minded. Sure, he left out many of the key points she would have made, but she knew it wouldn't have made a difference whether they were brought to light or not. She felt no compulsion to have the last word, and the executive officer's statement was eloquent enough. So she simply continued to grin and went back to watching Izokia perform her examination.

With the ship underway now there was little chance of pursuit, there had been no sign of any ships following as they departed and cruised away from the artificial world. Natsumi had kept her focus on the sensors as they had jumped out of the system and now that they were at FTL speeds things should be safe.

Natsumi stretched as she came out of the SPINE link and leaned back in her chair, switching to the conventional method of piloting the ship. Her big red eyes scanned the information scrolling across her display panel and her fingers rest lightly on the controls. While at FTL, she set the flight system to automatic and enjoyed the quiet piece as the ship cruised along.

She was looking forward to returning to Hanako's world and hoped whatever they had to do at the other two stops did not take long. She knew she needed a vacation and was sure everyone else did with all they had been through over the past few months.

Hanako picked up her phone and dialed the shipwide intercom, doing her best civilian pilot voice: "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have departed the Dreamworld and are now en route to Hanako's World in the Ketsurui Military Sector, with brief patrol stops in the HX-22 and UX-3. Ship time is 1400 and the condition level is four. That is all."

Ayumi finished her work and watched as Sienna and Misato sniped at each other. There was a calm, patient look on her face as she stood back and listened to them, nodding slowly as Sune spoke. "With respect, Suzume-Hei, I believe that the other crew members are capable of protecting each other, and this ship." This was punctuated with a bow.

The others on the ship had done a brilliant job of protecting it from the drones, and even though she had been incapacitated for most of the fighting, she felt like the rest of the crew would have gone to similar lengths to protect each other.

There was a nod thrown over her shoulder at Sienna, "Sienna-san is also capable." She added softly, "Though I will, unfortunately, be required to take that capability away."

Ayumi was not one for guns. She did not like shooting them, and all in all she was better at hand to hand contact. While having and charging her NSP was important, Ayumi did not like having to use it.

As if she'd been struck with an idea, Ayumi suddenly straightened up and turned to Sune, "Chusa, I was required to give Sienna-san my NSP during the fighting, due to being incapacitated." She stated evenly.

Sune looked at Sienna, then at Ayumi. "Satonaka-Santo Hei under those circumstances what you did was fine. However, now that the ship is at condition four it is inappropriate for a civilian to have a military NSP." He recalled that Sienna did not appreciate honorifics.

"Sienna, I appreciate your helping out during the crisis. You have proven yourself quite resourceful in the crises. However, kindly return the NSP to the Hei. Once we arrive at Hanako's World, I would like to offer to purchase you a civilian weapon of your own."

Deziarra entered the medbay hoping to meet the alien. She overheard Sune's last comment to Sienna but said nothing because it did not concern her. She eyed the alien for about fifteen seconds before realizing he would probably think staring was rude.

"I would like to meet the alien we brought on board," she said quietly.

The alien question had by now found the decon showers and was making hover hands over the knobs, as though unsure how it worked. A claw tapped against the wall in thought. As Deziarra spoke a long ear flicked and the big aliens head turned.

"Ah, I see one among us knows good looks when they see it." It joked as it experimentally turned a knob and blinked as water ran over it, soaking its clothes and smudging the painted lines over its head crest. The black blood over its snout already washing away.

Sienna's eyes hardened and settled flatly on Ayumi when the medic said something about having to take away her fighting capability, her face an unreadable steel mask. Was the doctor threatening her now?

It wasn't until Ayumi turned to Sune to report loaning out her weapon that she realized what the medic was actually saying. Her expression and her posture relaxed a little with the realization. She was about to reply, but Sune spoke first, so she remained quiet while the conversation between the two continued.

When Sune addressed her, she simply nodded with an impassive shrug in response to the compliment. She didn't feel it was particularly warranted, in all honesty, since it was in her own interest to fight off the intruders as well as do everything she could to expedite their exit, so there really wasn't any nobility in it. But if he, or they, wanted to think of her as a white knight, then so be it. She also nodded matter-of-factly when Sune asked that she hand the NSP back over to Ayumi, which was exactly what she expected she'd been summoned here for in the first place. "No problem," she answered, nodding towards Izokia, who was still examining her hands. "Soon as the doc here is done." She harbored no illusions about them letting her keep it anyway.

Her eyebrows rose again in surprise, however, when Sune offered to buy her a firearm of her own. That was truly out of left field to her. There was a brief pause as she collected herself, realizing after a beat that her jaw had slacked open just slightly, and quickly closed it back. "Heh, I think someone on this boat owes me a knife anyhow," she replied, clearing her throat. A small smirk of gratitude tugged at her lips. "Thanks," she added, looking at Sune.

"Sir, My I ask that I can take her weapon shopping? I would like to, plus I might be able to find a few new toys for my self." She asked hoping both Sune and Sienna would see that she was attempting to apologize for her last remarks.

Ayumi had meant no harm towards Sienna, she had in fact been attempting to compliment her while expressing her dislike towards needing her NSP. She had no idea how Sienna had taken it, though she did see her expression turn a bit stony when she spoke. A short bow was sent in Sienna's direction.

"I trust you will return it as soon as able." She stated, then offered another bow in Sune's direction. She actually quite liked Sienna, and the idea that the completely capable woman would have some sort of firearm was comforting to her. She was thankful that Sune had interpreted what she had said properly.

As Misato spoke Ayumi found herself nodding slightly. Having a trained infantry shop with someone to find guns seemed like a smart idea to her.

Chieko started to mop as well, a smile as she considered Kale's thought.

"You forgot about the electrical component, though it would be quite the shock to use. It would be possible to use an electric charge to cause the water to flow in the direction we want it (this due to water's slightly polar nature). Of course higher ion concentrations would increase this affect, however that would also increase the rate of disassociations, and free molecular hydrogen in an oxidizing high energy environment would not be good.

"Then again, a rotating magnetic field would be another way to do it; however that, again, would still result in an electric current. That would leave gravity as the best one to use, though I wonder how difficult consciously targeting it would be."

Bors kept moping as the others spewed there techno talk. He knew he wasn't the most learned person but he did know how to get something done the old fashioned way by hard work. In the back of his head he knew that by the time either of the two eggheads plan to clean up the bay had been fully fucntional he could of had it done thrice over with a few good troopers and mops, much like what they were doing now.

As he mopped he began to sing a little song to himself to entertain himself as well as set a pace to work at.

One of Sienna's eyebrows twitched as she glanced over at Misato again curiously, mildly suprised and slightly perplexed by her sudden change of tone. She didn't argue, however. She'd just been offered the prospect of receiving her own firearm, something she hadn't been able to afford or be allowed to keep in several years. There wouldn't be any sense in asking for it on her own terms.

She turned her attention back to Izokia, then looked down at her hands, and then back up at the medic. "So, there something you wanna do about them?" she asked plainly.

Cargo Bay

"Well... we can zoom around at roughly seventy miles per hour, perform difficult aerial manoeuvres and exert an amazingly fine tuned control on our inertial manipulation. We do this almost unconsciously. I think control would be the lest worry of the problem. I think the major stumbling block would be mustering the energy to project such a field at any particular distance from your body. A moment of a force is the force times its distance from the pivot. I think the same thing applies here. the further away the object your trying to manipulate is the more energy it would take, making such things highly impractical on the macroscopic scale. On the microscopic level it may be more useful." Kale replied to Chieko. Then again maybe there was a way around the energy problem if you were able to draw power from an aethiric reactor of some sort.

Kale continued his musing, absentmindedly mopping away at the floor.

Feeling the unending strain in her arms, Akane decided on the only course of action. Taking a deep breath while holding her arms against her chest, she said, "I may have pulled arms when I pulled the alien on board. I'm going to the Med Bay to get checked out." Making the proper gestures, she stepped out.

Med Bay

It took her a few moments longer than she'd have liked, but Akane made it to the Med Bay intact. She saw the alien she carried on board, along with a few of the others she first noticed on Dreamworld. As the Shosho announced they'd let Dreamworld, Akane felt a little relieved.

She searched around, wondering who was on duty and free to help her. With all the action that had taken place on the Eucharis while she was off the ship, Akane knew that pain in her arms wasn't necesarily the highest priority.

Ayumi turned around to face the newcomer as she entered. She offered a short bow, her expression neutral. "Hello, I am Satonaka Ayumi. Can I help you?" She asked, her hands folded neatly on her lap. The sheer amount of people in the medbay was astounding to her. Before the battle there had been about the same amount of people there, but the lack of emergency was welcome.

She glanced over at Izokia, her gaze then fell to Sienna's hands. She felt badly tnat the Nepleslian had been injured like that, knowing it would take longer to heal. With the slightest twitch of her lip, the medic turned back to Akane.

Satonaka Ayumi introduced herself, asking if she could be of any help. Akanke bowed, trying not to put any undue strain on her arms. "Santo Hei Miyako Akane. I think I might have strained or pulled my arm muscles while I was boarding the ship earlier." She forced herself to loosen her arms, so Ayumi could examine them.

Ayumi moved forward, examining the other Neko's arms. She frowned slightly, nodded, and then straightened again. Her arms folded neatly over his abdomen. She shook her head slightly, "I could give you pain killers, but I fear that would send you back to work and you would simply do more damage." She explained.

"As it is, your body should have repaired what damage that was done in a few hours." The medic added, her expression completely blank and her tone soft. She delivered her opinion without any real conviction, if Akane insisted for the pain killers she would give them. As a doctor it was her job to make sure her patients were comfortable.

Medbay

"I'd rather not do more damage," Akane said. "I suppose I should rest while my muscles repair. Is there anything else I should do?"

Akane didn't mind being patient. If she needed to avoid further strain to keep from hurting herself, she would do it. Ayumi had a better understanding of medical needs than Akane did.

There was no way Akane was going to risk injuring her arms further. She would need them if she was going to paint.
