Eun-Kyung nodded as the Captain spoke; all of her concerns were perfectly rational and frankly the number of unknowns they were operating with was more than a little disconcerting.
“Understood, ma’am,” she said in acknowledgment when the Taisa finished. She took a moment to set her station to idle and then stood, walking to the hatch. Turning, she bowed her head to the Captain with a small smile on her face. “See you on the other side, ma’am”
Slipping through the hatch, she made her way through the passageways with all haste to the Power Armor Bay. Once there, she queued up an armor set with the three P3000 units, along with the rest of the standard kit. Knowing they might be facing some hardened targets, she also decided to take an Aether Beam Saber-Rifle and two Type 31 Satchel Charges, in case the weapon installations took something a little heavier to crack.
Having ditched her boots, pins, and belt, she slipped into the open clamshell of the armor and let the automated rack systems button the suit up and load it out. Finally ready, she secured her helmet and had the teleportation unit start charging up, the coordinates Eternity had provided already programmed in.
As the unit neared the completion of the charging cycle, she opened a comm link to the crew on the surface. “Away team, this is the XO. Those near the Diligent, heads up; I’ll be on you in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…”
