Katae sat in the Aoi Hasu restaurant. There was only one table prepared for service, because she had reserved the entire place for the crew's dinner. She used the KS card her clan had given her, she would not use it for herself, but to take care of her crew. It seemed appropriate to her.

Each of the place settings had a place card, and many of them had a small box sitting on the card.

Katae sat at the end of the table, a glass of wine in her hand, she took a moment to sniff the bouquet. It was a Hanako's Original Red Wine, from a bottle she had acquired. She was reclining in a high backed chair, sitting in a dark blue dress with silver embroidery. She took a sip of the wine and savored it, with her eyes close she reached up and lightly touched the diamond earring in her left ear.

Amaterasu came over to Katae, the brown skinned Neko looked at the table and the settings. "Is everything satisfactory Taisa? I can get you a wine from another winery if you like."

Katae smiled, "Everything is completely satisfactory. As for the wine this is fine for now. Perhaps as the evening wears on I may wish to try another. My crew should be arriving shortly."

Re: [Mission 6.0] Sword Flash in Darkness

Kyoka was the first to arrive, fashionably early, in a simple, keyhole-neckline purple dress that would normally match her hair. But, on this particular occasion, it was not morning-glory purple or even her normally disguised color of soft pink. This time, it was more of a darker, deeper pink that would suggest rosy cheeks and blushing faces.

She bowed to her superior as she entered, the neko grinning from ear to ear after relieving the latest letter for her promotion.

"Konbanwa, Ise-taisa!" She greeted, glee bubbling through her speech.

Re: [Mission 6.0] Sword Flash in Darkness

Freyja Oinari Wondered into the restaurant reading over her SAINT handbooks on her glasses. She wanted to be sure that she was up to date with all important aspects of her profession. She was pretty sure that SAINT had sent her to this post to just be ditched so she developed a plan. She would be a great operative and the the higher ups would have to take notice.

With a cute mousey smile on her face she walked into the the area that the Taisa was sitting in, She quickly bowed and moved to the seat that had her name at it. she stood and waited to be told to sit. "Evening Ma'am"

"Konbanwa, that dress looks marvelous on you Tsubei-San.", Katae replied as she placed her wine glass on the table. "Please kindly take your seats, this is a mostly informal event." she said with a smile.

She looked at the hostess and gave her a nod. Amaterasu gestured to the waitstaff. They approached the table, and started filling water glasses and putting menus down at each place. They also held out the chairs for Kyoka and Freyja.

Freyja Sat down and let the waitstaff help her slide the chair up to the table. She blushed at the fact that she had never had been in a situation that would happen. she carefully laid her napkin on her lap and sat looking at the environment around her. Before long she started studying the Tasia. She was intrigued that the Tashia was out of uniform, she knew a lot of nekos that buy non-uniform sets of clothing as soon as they could. Freyja just could not fathom a need for her self at this time for such things.

Her eyes soon fell on the other person at the table. She had seen her around the ship and possibly during the mission she join the Aeon during. She seemed a nice sort of person.[/i]

Emiko entered the restaurant wearing a demure cream-colored dress that clung lightly to her feminine form. As per normal, the neko also had her hair done up -- a long river of dark, vibrant hair trailed down her back and glistened in the lower-level lighting used in the evening.

Upon noticing the table with the other members of the crew already present she crossed over to join them, bowed respectfully to the Taisa, then spoke to those already seated.

"Good evening, everyone."

Katae returned the bow, "Good evening Emiko-San, please take your seat.

The older members of the Aeon crew came into the restaurant. They were boisterous and laughing at some shared joke as they approached the table.

Yani as the senior member of the group gave a bow towards Katae. "Good evening Ise-San, thank you for arranging for this dinner." the green haired neko said.

The group found their assigned seats and started perusing the menu.

She thanked the Taisa for the compliment and eyed the empty seats, allowing the newly-arrived senior officers to take their seats first.

Kyoka found herself at one of the emptier areas of the table, having not really ever conversed with the senior staff, though she's been with them for a while. The neko simply waited for her comerades from the infantry teams to show up so she'd have a little more to talk about.

Saki showed up soon afterwards walking into the open restaurant. She froze there for a small second. This looked very very formal, which no one told her. She was probably supposed to realised it herself when the captain was the one arranging this. They all had pretty dresses or duty uniforms. Saki herself had what she always wore. A bodysuit and her Legend Jacket. That was not very formal.

She slowly walked forwards, as there was no stepping back anymore. She bowed deeply to the Captain and others. "Konbanwa," she greeted them and then sat next to Kyoka.

Katae smiled and returned Saki's bow with a nod of her head. "I am glad you decided to join us, although you a Kyoka must not have noticed the placecards. I have arranged the seating so as to help mix things up. Kyoka as the ranking Infantry, or Squad leader I placed you here next to me so that we might chat. Saki-San, you are next to Frejya-San." she said indicating the intended seats.

"Oh, whoops! I didn't see that," The girl remarked, moving to her designated seat next to the Taisa. She eyed the little box at the place, curious as to its contents, but instead turned her attention to the menu and took care to observe the contents of that instead.

"Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am." Saki apologized and stood up again, walking to Freyja, making sure she sits where her card is. She pulled a chair and sat down, smiling nervously. "Hello," she greeted Freyja.

Katae picked up her glass and took a sip of wine, she placed it down and smiled.

"No need to apologize, it has been far too long since we have had the opportunity to gather like this. Out on our missions, its all life and death. But we need times like this to help us stay grounded. To remember who we are outside of war, and to remember what we fighting to protect.

I started this tradition on the Aeon before our first mission. Circumstances have prevented us from doing it more often. But it matters to me, here we can relax, be ourselves. Hence why I come to these not wearing a uniform. Because its not an official function. But that being said, its perfectly fine for those who do. Not everyone has had time to purchase civilian clothes."

One of the wait staff came in with a small plate that had some more of the small boxes that most of the people had before them. They put one down before Katae, and one in front of each of the other members.

"Excellent, I was worried that they would not get here in time." she said putting her glass down and standing.

"If I may have your attention. First of all, I want to thank all of your for your hard work and dedication. If you haven't already noticed many of you have been promoted. They were well earned. As for our newest members, your turn with come.

Now before each of you is a small box. In it you will find a small gift from me to each of you. After all our time together, we have bonds stronger than any family. Bonds forged by common experience, sacrifice, blood, sweat and tears. The Aeon has been my home, and all of you are more than just crew members to me. So I am giving you this small token, it is a Star Army Ring that I had created for each of you. They have been personalized with your respective birthstone. So that no matter where the future may lead us you will have this ring to look upon and remember those whom you have served with."

She then reached down and picked up her box, opened it and slid the ring on her middle finger.

ShotJon said:
"Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am." Saki apologized and stood up again, walking to Freyja, making sure she sits where her card is. She pulled a chair and sat down, smiling nervously. "Hello," she greeted Freyja.

"Hello Ma'am, that is an interesting jacket." Freyja responded. Before she could say anything more the Taisa spoke up.

After the Taisa finished Oinari opened the box to find a beautiful ring. She was so thrilled, no one had ever given her anything like it before, and it was the first non-uniform item she had. Quickly putting it on she looked at it and admired it for a few moments, before she looked up and squeaked a "Thank You," to the Taisa.

Katae sat back down and motioned to the hostess. Amaterasu gave her people a wave and the converged on the table. There were several taking orders so no one had to wait very long.

Katae ordered sushi for her appetizer, hibachi scallops with white rice.

Yoshiro had arrived late and decided to skip his uniform. He arrived at the dinner a bit late and he sighed. He seemed to always be late for the imprortant things. He sat down at his spot and looked at the box. He opened it and then put it on his finger. He stood up and bowed to the taisa. "Hello Ise-taisa. You look beautiful if I may say so." He said and hoped that what he said would be taken as a compliment as he was not good at these kind of things.

Kyoka admired the gift, slipping it on her right hand and letting the Capricorn emblem shine in the light. She did like the shinies, after all. Before she had a chance to thank the Taisa, the meal had already started, so she placed an order for salmon sashimi (That stuff was 'spensive, after all!), then turned to the humble captain of the Aeon.

"I just want to say, thanks. For the meal, for the ring, and for being the Taisa to my ship," She stumbled, feeling a little awkward about the whole thing.

Rinako entered the restaurant, her dress uniform immaculately pressed and cleaned. She bowed to all those already in attendance and moved around the room, seeking her assigned seat.

There was a faint lull in conversation near the entrance to the restaurant for some reason. The hushed conversations ceased for some time, then resumed when a figure passed by.

A particularly beautiful Nekovalkyrja that had rushed to the door seemed to be the cause of it, but she began walking inside to find her party began to move around the larger groups, peering at the faces of everyone seated at the table, as if seeking a particular face. She wore what had taken her a good three hours to decide upon, except deciding is generally when the clerk doesn't make you change into it and push you out the door after you spend too long deciding between basically the same four outfits.

Civvies had never been her strong suit. A slinky looking halter dress in white clung to the curves of the young woman, the v-neck showing a proper dosage of cleavage before sliding closed, opening in a diamond over her belly button, the only other opening was down further, though. Moving over her hips, it opened over one of her thighs completely, showing off one leg clad in a sheer white stocking, moving all the way down to sensible heels. Her long hair had been drawn up into a bun, crossed with hair sticks, and let down in a long tail that teased at the curve created by the small of her back at the curve of her behind, where the dress resumed in the back.

Wearing a few soft white bands of metal on her left wrist, which made slight jingling sounds as she moved, the walking distraction finally stopped at the Aeon's party, and looked for the one seat, up to the commander's left, with no one left in it. Sitting down, she bowed in it slightly and murmured, "I'm sorry I'm late, ma'am. I'm bad with civvies." As a faint line of color drew across her pale cheeks, her dark purple eyes raised, glancing down the table curiously.

"Kyoka-San, it has been my honor to serve as the Taisa of the Aeon, and your commander. Thank you." Katae said to her squad leader.

She noticed the staff watching the arrival of the crew's newest member. She waited for Misaki to arrive at the table.

Katae tapped her glass with her knife the fine crystal emitting a pleasant chime. "May I have your attention please, I would like to introduce all of you to our newest crew member of the Aeon. Kurusu Misaki-Chusa is going to be our Executive Officer, it seems that Personnel Management has finally seen fit to fill my request. Kurusu-Chusa served aboard our sister ship the Eucharis. I have every confidence that she will serve with distinction aboard the Aeon."
