[Neko] Fred's closer look at nekovalkyrja visuals

For spy work, you'd have the Eihei model. Dunno about police work or having a quick getaway ...

Even with the Type 33, the assumption is supposed to be a Neko and an armor go together. Only the 33A is supposed to be alone, so maybe you just need a 33A-2?

Nomenclature would be 33B.
Also, stealth nekos are in use. Reika certainly used the NH-33S. Kotori was a NH-29S (on paper, anyways, before I plotdeviced her).

In all honesty, I'm not sure I like the current direction of this discussion. It kind of ignores pitfalls of previous models that were explored before, and there were reasons for the current directions. A "fresher" point of view might not perceived how we've "been there, done that" already, and I'm not optimistic about rethreading this.

But, the nekos are Wes', so, have at it... I guess.

That's not true anymore, though. She's an Eihei.

I actually don't think SAINT should have ever had access to the Eihei body. It kind of just further devalues the uniqueness of Ketsurui Samurai.

I'd like to see an NH-33A with stealth capabilities to fill the SAINT field operative role, tbh.

I support what Polygon is saying. The more cool old stuff brought back the better in my mind. Also I could see rocket boosters being on something stealthy for moments where sheer speed is more important than concealment like when you've done all your snooping and maybe have been discovered and you just want to get away fast.

What I wonder is if making stuff out of hemosynth/blood and making additional limbs is an ability worth restricting when I recently saw it said it had been greatly toned down compared to what it was in the past when it could make complex machinery. It's a really neat ability that people might like to see more easily accessible and prevalent.

Heck, ordinary Neko might like it just so they get more variety in how they diddle each other during downtime. That could raise morale.

Not news to me. I'm her GM. That's why I said used and not uses.

The point was that SAINT tactical operatives almost universally prefer the Eihei model because their GMs/character reviewers allow it.

There should be a more thematic option for SAINT bruisers than "we get the samurai body :3"

It seems tremendously hard to control. Do they have blueprints for all the devices they make, do they program themselves how to build millions of different designs on a whim, or do they just imagine what they want and it takes form spontaneously from the efforts of some quasi-divine supercomputer? What materials can they work with, what types of devices can't they make, how do they get new designs?

I'm happy with how it is now, there's enough magic tricks Nekos can pull, already.

Well I just said I read the blood ability was watered down in terms of the complexity of what you can make. I don't see making simple objects or growing a sharp protrusion being too wild. If it's too much to regulate why have it all? Isn't it still around?

I just want Neko to be able to grow cocks, not NSP Glocks.

You mostly run SAINT, so you could make that a thing if you like.

I guess I could, but this whole line of discussion exists because of @Primitive Polygon's interest in making a sweet infiltrating Neko carbine. They're definitely a better setting article producer than I am, but I'll help anyone with knowledge/input if they ask ^^

Plus, it seems kind of weird to encourage me to touch Neko considering my divergent attitude on the NH equipment series :p

Hey, you're as much a part of the setting as I am, and I'm old and cranky. Besides, Yukari's still a 29 and that's all that matters in the end.
