Nekovalkyrja Tentacles?

Kami

Well, I'm reading through some of the old RPs here, trying to learn what's going on so that I can join in, when all of a sudden I start reading things like this:
With a growl, a tentacle sprung from her hip port again, waving menacingly in the air in front of him.
Umm, what? Tentacles? Where did that come from?

I didn't remember anything like this in the Neko's info. The some-what outdated NH-7 Technical Manual references something called "Hemosynthetics", but doesn't go into any details about how it works or what it can do.

Is this where it comes from? Can anyone give me some more info about it? Thanks ^^;

The old manual said:
The most advanced component of the NH-7 series bioweapons is the blood itself. This blood, filled with microscopic machines, and specially created molecules, is used in many more ways than to merely deliver oxygen. The blood can even act as a weapon. Blood can be used to rapidly heal injuries in a correct manner, and also, it permits rapid regrowth of severed parts. The blood can be used to form things such as ropes, weapons, parachutes, and even human assistants. In addition, blood is used as a coolant.

...

The weapon's hands and feet are hemosynth based, as are the retina of her eyes, and they will likely dissolve back into the body when the weapon is sleeping or in stasis on second version models such as the NH-7y2.
Nekovalkyrja blood can be used to grow extra body parts. The tentacle you read about was being created with nanomachines (the process of hemosynthesis) in the Nekovalkyrja's blood and coming out through one of the Nekovalkyrja's HS ports, openings in the skin made for the blood to come out to make extra organs as needed.

Does this answer your question?

Minor question, it says the blood is "filled with microscopic machines." Is is biological blood with nanomachines mixed in that let it do those things, or it the blood it's self composed of the nanomachines?

Also, I read about the MEGAMI using a 'nodal system' (?) to create things spontaniously. This sounds like basically the same concept, what's the difference?

( P.S. Is there going to be a 'new' manual about the newer Nekowalkyrja models? )

It's a mixture, since the non-machines are easier to mass-produce. The mechine level will rise over time, but after an injury, the machine level can be low and the more natural types of blood cells will take over until the machines can get things back to normal again.

The Nodal system is very similar, but airborne instead of blood-borne. The Nodal system also lacks the organic components the HS system does. Side notes: the Mindy Power Armor also uses the same HS Blood as the Nekovalkyrja. Starships often also have an HS system, too, tied to the life support.

Several times I've tried to start them, but I have yet to finish one. :( I would like to. I was hoping to do one for the NH-29 perhaps (I want to replace the 17 with the 29, for game balance reasons).

When catgirls start growing tentacles you know you're on the right RP forum!

But in all seriousness, it's too bad it takes longer for 33 to do this.
