Nepleslia copyrights: Do they exist?

As some of you know, the Yggdrasill is a Vampire custom/variant which Yuki Toshiro designed. There are parties which have OOC interest and IC interest in such a craft, and I am wondering if Nepleslia has a copyright system, unlike Yamatai, which would hinder efforts to distribute the model, and if the Vampire is copyrighted ICly.

There is likely a copyright system in Nepleslia but is likely only based on its military-industrial complex to ensure corporations like NAM keep their monopoly and that Nep-tech isnt threatened by the MANY talented minds of the kikyo sector who can likely create lesser versions with the knowledge they have on hand.

For the private sector, Nep has a very cutthroat system in regards to business practices but i would assume its less about legality and more about darwinism. Because you wouldnt want to step on the toes of mega-corporations who deal in the billions of trillions of DA and likely wage shadow-wars with other major corporations that could include the use of mercenaries and immeasurable resources. So im sure there is loose...
You keep using that word, "copyright". I do not think it means what you think it means.

Jokes aside, I get what you're saying (I'd reckon it'd probably be closer to a patent, but don't ask me), but I would assume they don't - have you read up on what they do on that planet?

If there is a way to read up on intellectual property, patents, or copyrights of Nepleslia, that'd be interesting. I know Yamatai lacks such a thing, but Nepleslia's system is described as more capitalistic and money driven.

The general idea is if you came up with the idea, and you built it, and created the prototype, the IP is yours. Under this assumption you have five simple rights.

I found one that was a little more elaborate a year or so ago, but this is the jist of it.

The third one though I feel should be expanded on appropriately. The Right to control the distribution of new, but not used, copies of the work.

Now, IDK if Nepleslia follows these copywrite laws. I also don't know if the "Vampires" are still a thing. Quick look at the wiki says they are.

So, @Gunhand4171, are these the copywrite laws of Nepleslia?

I'm not sure these laws exist, but maybe that would be something you could get senate RP out of.

I don't believe there is a copyright perse, however the Vampire is a ship that is not used by the Military to really any capacity, in regards to the ship, its a non issue. As for copyrights. It feels as though there is a copyright/ patent system that would be used. Dependant upon what the original manufacturer had dictated when first producing the item. We have a lot of items that are made from surplus, or from parts from other companies. So i would say the system is not as strict as Yamatai.

So im sure there is loose copyrighting pushed through by the senate to appease these mega corporations but they are more to keep the little guys from getting in their way while they duke it out on a political, financial, and espionage scale.

And thats without vectoring in the black syndicate who have zero chill and are a guaranteed bad time you dont want to cross by messing with their buisness interests or provide competition against. They might not have much RP since the civil war but ive always pictured them able to go toe-to-toe with some of the largest independent entities in the sector and even be a minor nation-state level player in regards to their resources.
