Having planned and schemed with veteran GM @paladinrpg for many weeks, I would like to announce one of the first Star Army Rikugun - land army - plots the site has ever seen! If you want Saving Private Ryan style landings, stealth missions, tanks, air combat, airborne assaults, CBQ, boots-on-the-ground, snipers and all that comes with being in an Army, register your interest below!

Ninth Legion will be one of the first Rikugun plots in site history, using the abundant technologies and resources developed for them on the wiki but never used in an actual Rikugun setting IC including the Daisy II power armor and other never-before-seen technologies, some of which are featured on the plot page.

This will be a site first plot as not only is it Rikugun, this plot will interwine with Paladin's plot Orochi Squadron. While Orochi wrestles for space and air superiority around planets, they will land the Ninth Legion, who will storm and invade planets for the glory of Yamatai.

Ninth Legion follows the 8th "Helljumper" Platoon of the 9th Legion Rikugun as they explore, garrison and invade worlds across the South-East Frontier of Yamataian space. Following the start of the Kuvexian War, the Star Army realised there were several worlds inside the Empire that were unknown factors and unmonitored.

With the memory of how the Rixxikor used such presumed empty planets to invade Yamatai fresh in the minds of many, the Ninth were dispatched along with Orochi Squadron to explore, clear and take these worlds.

The interactivity between these two plots will be emphasised and there will be frequent joint SP threads where players from both plots can mingle. Fighter pilots especially can be a part of both plots, switching between Orochi and Ninth as they are needed for bombing runs, night strikes, ship defence and dogfights.

Updated player roster, be advised due to the merge of my plot and Orochi Squadron we will likely be retiring those two OOC threads for a new one :) expect that any day now we're almost ready to kick off, once an article goes through NTSE and we tidy the last few things up from the last arc.
